This channel is dedicated to sharing your guys builds! I love going out in and experiencing different modified cars which is why I started this channel. I will also be documenting my own car builds, meets and adventures.
If you have a cool modified car, send a email to my account describing your build along with some photos to be featured on the channel - nz.tyler.jones@gmail.com

@@ojz3080 I didn’t know about priming the pad so I’ll take a look into that before doing the rest of the car. Especially if it means less sling 🤣 thanks for the tip
Hey mate, would you mind doing a review of the android head unit, I read that the trim plate doesn't fit with that climate control but I see it fits great there, how'd you get that right? Also, why didn't you go with a 9-inch unit?
@@mathewkrugermkthesinger5560 I bought the car with this head unit set up by the previous owner. And since this video I’ve actually removed all of that. The trim fit fine with that size radio, the radio had a bracket around it to allow it to fix into the hole with the trim to go back over the top. Hopefully you can make a set up work for you 👍🏼
I've had mine for 7 years. Semi slicks, suspension and some wedsports it just hammers it in the corners. In a straight line for sure its not fast but it holds the road so well.
@@St3phil thanks for the comment mate, if I could go back and do it all again I would have definitely made them straighter. But I’m at least happy there symmetrical and now they’ve been in the car for a while I quite like it!
@@Santera-vd9mp thanks for the comment mate, I’m really pleased with the way things turned out. I wasn’t sure about them in the beginning but now I look back on photos without them and the car doesn’t seem right
Love your videos! Try tro learn how to revmatch (but the right way :D - clutch in -> put it in neutral -> throttle blip -> clutch in -> lower gear) so you can relieve stress on the clutch and you can downwhift much faster, it will help you a lot to have car ready before the corner. Just drive, practise and work on your self! I also own a st225 so I am looking forward for another videos <3
Thanks for the comment mate, not sure why the coolant looked low but it isn’t I make sure to check it regularly. Thanks for letting me know though. Cars gonna sound even better when it finally gets the decat
Sleepers, Absolutley the most fun car i have ever driven. 74K on the clock pulling like a train. awesome cars! i also have white octane edition, colour sets off nice
Nice find, I'd love to see the transformation on this car. I have a Question for the focus. Do they sell often in New Zealand? I've got an xr5 which is the 4-door variant, but I want to recreate a bit of history and get a 2-door st225 or preferably a 2-door normal 4 cylinder so I can put a turbo 4-wheel drive 4 cylinder. I want to make the 2007 ford focus rally car but have no clue about the market in New Zealand. wondering if you've seen some. looking to ship to Australia in the future.
@@jamesngatuakana2359 thanks for the comment mate. The 2 door focus’s are extremely rare with only a hand full of examples in Nz, with all of them being Japanese imports as the focus “st” was never sold here only the 4 door xr5 variant. They do come up every now and then and for not much money. Between 12-16k nzd
How long have you been in NZ? They're still common in the UK but the chav fraternity have ruined nearly all of them. Zero proper mods, just cheap road tunes from your sick m8 Ryan and his laptop, or even worse, pop and bang maps. Then it breaks and gets parted out. This is a JDM one right? I see a Japanese warning sticker on your battery cover.
I’ve been in Nz just over a year now. Unfortunately you’re right about most focuses in the Uk. I’m trying to build mine properly with quality parts, maintenance and supporting mods and so far it’s been reliable. And yes this one’s a JDM import, it’s very common here, I’ve owned 8 cars since I’ve moved here and 7 of them have been imports. Thanks for commenting hope you enjoyed!
@@turbo_tyler_ Yeah I know enough about NZ to know that it basically runs on Jap imports :) . I must visit at some point. I also have a Ford of this era, an ST150 that somehow managed to avoid being chavved out, but it needs a bit of a fluff-up.
@@Yodaracing1 it’s definitely made a sound difference, your short the other days making me impatient and wanting it now. I’m sure it’ll make a difference on the dyno
This video is very helpful I have 123d and you can’t imagine how hard it is to find a video where the stock exhaust is shown + fly by in fact this is the only video I’ve found in the 7 months of owning the car 😅 I understand that mine would sound better due to obvious reasons but it’s as close as I can get I couldn’t find a single video not only for mine but every single 2 liter engine variation from this gen it’s always not stock or not shown at all thank you cuz I’m too lazy to set a camera and do it on my own 😂
Yeah it was a nightmare. So much harder than it looks on videos, but definitely worth the effort and I think the next one I do would go a lot better. At least my one is nice and tight and the stitches don’t bother me at all. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy the rest of the videos!
Thanks a lot mate I appreciate the support. Definitely trying to provide quality content, still got room for improvement and the videos will only be getting better!
Nah mate, its an invalid run, look at the sloping road (green line). Realistically, 5.8 to 5.9 for 100 is all you will get without launch in S mode, but you must press on brake pedal hard before you floor it to activate harsh shifts. Passenger ads another 0.2s
Yeah unfortunately there’s not really anywhere in my area on the street that’s flat enough and quiet enough to stop and do a 0-100 run so this was as close as I could get.
Did you try launch control? DSG in sport mode , TC off , foot on brake, rev to 3k or so n launch . It’s pretty aggressive but . Nice video, I’ve got a blue one with wingbacks , love it 😎
