@@shelondamartin-bady4962 Thank you! They don’t help to relocate you or ship your vehicle. It’s on you to find a place to stay in whatever place they relocate you
What airline lets you sit down? Yes, on longer flights, if you want to sit on the jumpseat for a few seconds, it's okay. . . . .but we never sat down, then got up, then sat down. There is always something to check with regard to the passengers to take care of.
I commend you for trying it and walking away. I’m currently a F.A, have been for a year and a half. & the reserve life isn’t easy. My airline has 13hr on call shifts. The whole gig is very unpredictable honestly. However, I can now bid for a line. But with my airline doing all turns now w/ no overnights/layovers…. I’ll stay reserve and get my guarantee 75. Considered quitting. But decided to look at promotions for extra cash 🤷🏽♀️
I was considering being a flight attendant, tomorrow i am going to get my passport but after listening to your video you just confirmed my thoughts. I am a very puntual person when it comes to arriving on time but the fact that they change and confuse me and expect me there, I see my self doing errors and then getting points for not being on time and that just causes anxiety to me
My advice would be to just get more opinions and watch more videos, do more research and go with what your heart tells you. But if you start and you end up not liking it, you can always just stop
Watching your videos feels like catching up with an old friend. Your warmth and authenticity shine through, making it impossible not to root for you. Keep shining, lovely!
Lol I love your vlogging style! its funny because once I started typing this you were at the point of apologizing for (maybe) being "mean" I didn't think that.. but that is kinda why I enjoyed the video so much just seems really raw and uncut💯Anyways, I'm BIG considering becoming a flight attendant and I'm a research girlie so it only made sense for me to watch lots of these type of days in a life of an FA videos. Hoping to get a good idea of what I'm signing up for because I'm at a point in my life where I really need a change in career/direction that is worth it, and also would love to travel the world.
Natalie, no matter whether the hair is short or long, that face of yours is beautiful, and a stylish body accompanies it. I think you are destined to model. If I lived in MIA, I would search you out to be my face to face friend and confidant. Stunning looks do not hurt, but they are not the reason. The reason is YOU, an alive, intelligent, introspective human being. Your friend, Herman
Natalie, very glad to see you feeling well and going about living. As for the camera, believe me, do not think that much about recording life. Instead, LIVE life, and, then, clue us in later about it. Smiling not necessary, although you are even more beautiful when you do. Modeling could be your destiny, classy young woman. Herman
Pay was not too good in the beginning. I’m not sure about other airlines, but at mine, we started at $21 an hour and were guaranteed 75 hours a month, even if we didn’t clock that many hours. We got a raise twice a year as well. Everyone told me that the pay is good once you hold a line (holding a line means you’re not on call) and once you reach the 5 year mark. Depending on what airline you work for, you may be making less than 30k a year when you first start but you have opportunities to pick up flights, receive overtime pay, receive holiday pay, etc., depending on the company and their rules, so don’t let that discourage you from applying!
I’m always by myself because I don’t like asking people to come with me places and a lot of times it takes a while to set up a something or people cancel last minute or some don’t wanna do what you wanna do and it’s just easier to just go and not be dependent on others and do whatever we like. Not a FT but I truly enjoy being alone exploring the city.
Natalie, definitively, life IS change. So, no prob there. As for falling into that trap of doing what society, culture, or others trying to exercise control indicate is what you are SUPPOSED to do, tune it out and YOU decide what you WANT to do each day. Today, this minute, is all any of us have. Please YOU. And since you are happy in the vid, stay that course. We all are here such a short time, and it is all we have. 💕Herman
Natalie, you are an astoundingly attractive young woman, so if you obsess are lip products, more power to you. Those ring earrings are dazzling on you. Definitely model material, lady. Take care. Always look forward to your thoughts. Herman
Get FMLA for your anxiety my friend does and she is also a flight attendant. And try to keep flying lower hours if you can. If you feel better then maybe flyer higher hours. Things have been tough for everyone. I use to fly high hours but now I’m always tryna be home and enjoy family and friends and my time home doing what I want to do.
I will be in FA training in a few months and I'm super excited, this video has been really helpful to prepare myself and be aware of both sides of the coin. Thank you !!!
I think that the advice “ just go and try it” is WRONG.This is a unique job,and one must do an extensive research re the pros and cons.Otherwise you will find yourself unhappy very quickly. One must have certain good reasons to do this job…as it’s not like any other.Respect yourself, your future employer who is investing in you, make a wise decision based on who you are and if the job fits you well. There is plenty of blogs out there to tell the story. It’s also about looking for a job when one is very young, and confused.Better luck in your next adventure.
