Your presentation and manner of speaking is superb. But how can you do a 5 minute pillow review and not even utter the words "soft or firm?!" THAT is one of the most important things people want to know!
I'm thinking that the "tracks everything you do on your PC, EVERYTHING" deal, isn't quite the selling point that he or MS apparently thinks that it is. There is plenty that I do NOT want to be reminded of, at inopportune times. I'm probably not alone. In fact, forget inappropriate, how about giving Microsoft the ability to track EVERYTHING that you do and to monetize it. Or when law enforcement wants a peek at what you've been up to. No need to get a warrant for your PC, serve a no-notice warrant to MS for this data. Yeah, MS has a winner because you know how much folks love to give up their privacy. With trackers. From MS.
You have to turn on Recall, it’s not on by default. It’s also not a cloud feature, so Microsoft can’t give the data to anyone. You decide which apps that it’s allowed to work with and which it can’t.
even worse is that its not even encrypted on your device!, its just a sqlite database, and can be read by other users on the same computer. what can go wrong?
+1 and subbed! As soon as it comes out in the UK I'm joining you in the future dude! Unfortunately I'm still waiting, nearly a year now since making my own video after it was announced 😢 ... but many of my thoughts echo yours. Would love to know what you think of my take, if you have the time to watch. Thanks for making this Andru! 🙇 See you in the futuuuuuuuurrrre! 🛸
I have been a TiVo fan for 18 years! Love the remote and interface. But now I am considering switching to streaming, so I bought TiVo Stream 4K. I am in the trial perod of RU-vidTV and am considering Sling to compare them. Soes Sling work "better" than YTTV with TiVo Stream 4K, or is it just personal preference? TiVo highly promtes Sling as if it has an edge over other services. Thanks for your thoughts, Andru.
First, I just bought my Vision Pro a couple of days ago and have worn it for about 3 hours and it doesn’t bother me one bit. I think the feeling of heaviness is subjective. When I was demoing it at the Apple Store, I was happy when the demo appointment was over and realized that I just had worn the device for a full 30 mins without being bothered. Also, I was one of the early adopters for the VR headsets several years ago and I am seeing the very same complaints I saw with the HTC Vive, Oculus, etc… “Where are the games? There isn’t enough enough content, the device is too heavy…” Now, here we are in 2024 and we are now on the Meta Quest 3 and people are talking about what a great value the Quest 3 is. So we are in familiar waters here. The AVP will improve just like all the other goggles improved over time. I’m sure we will be here discussing the AVP 3 in a few years but we are just going to start off walking first then run once more people jump on board.
My students were born in 2018 and when I told them about the first gen iPad, they could not fathom that it didn’t have cameras of any kind. God, does this make me old? (26, born in 1998)
well, i’m not a big fan of windows any more. but it’s nice to see microsoft finally entering the arm space. we need some competition for Apple. Macbooks are ridiculously expensive now. that’s real nuts.
@@mendacious7 well, if you know the government, what you may be doing legal today can become illegal tomorrow. What you own legally today, may make you a felon tomorrow. I’ve seen this cycle a lot of times.
