I'm doing a test subject on it before making the actual candles and I'm experiencing the sweating. I think I may have put too much fragrance oil. Thank you.
My problem with this wick I that it doesn’t stay lit. I have to soak them in the wax I’m using and let them dry and still some stay lit and some goes out. When it burns it burns well only problem is them staying lit.
While I love your company and I love purchasing my supplies from you, I wish you would keep your wicks in stock more often. They always seem to be out of stock.
Hello! I just came across your page and you have so much good information. I have a small business And recently added skincare. We have a couple of new products that we’re going to add to our small business and have been trying things out, but I have a couple of questions. Maybe you can help.
You should be able to still light the wick with an electric light or matches!! Alternatively if you don't want to burn it you can have it as a decorative candle too!
Hi! This will vary on what fragrance load you will like to achieve! Here is our fragrance percentage chart to help! makesy.com/pages/candle-fragrance-chart
I do cure my soaps 4-6 weeks, it makes for a much better lather and sudds and it will last me so much longer than the 48 hour 2-3weeks soaps. That's just me. I do have ph testers and will say otherwise too. The ph is to high on 1 week old soaps.....
Flashpoint has nothing to do with at what temp to add the fragrance to the wax. Flashpoint is the minimum temperature at which a liquid forms a vapor above its surface in sufficient concentration that it can be ignited. Many fragrance flashpoints are well below the temperature at which the wax is able to receive and incorporate the fragrance.
Thanks so much for your inspirational video. Can you use this to make soap sprinkles with an extractor and then use them to decorate bath bombs and bath salts (aka unicorn bath dust for kids)? Thanks
Hi there! Ooo that sounds super fun to make! We haven't made soap sprinkles yet but we dont see why it shouldn't work! It may just need to be a firm result in order to grate to make the sprinkle like textures! :)
LoL cuz that's what happened to me, I read the directions on the hobby lobby kit directions and I thought it meant to add the whole bottle of 50/50 ...I was lye heavy and I can't wait to get my kit tomorrow. Thank you So Much ❤
