I really enjoy your shows - nuanced but frank. Agree with many points. But: GG is no messiah. CF is not a religion, it's a sport which, if done in moderation is healthy for body and soul and can help avoid many chronic health issues. Any mix of sports or movement and decent nutrition will do that. I love CF but don't care if it is CAP, HWPO, DSGN, or IF3. Agree that Mat should have been more proud of the sport and community and explained the benefits and training methods.
Just for reference, Khalipa rowed the half marathon in "1hr18min02sec" in the 2013 games. Double that (assuming he could hold that pace) and its "2hr36min04sec" or about 16 minutes slower than the monster dude at 1:21:37. Jason's first 2k split (which was a separate score) was "6:21.1" which is about the same as this dudes last 2k split...fricken crazy how elite these rowers are but also interesting that a Crossfitter can hold his own against these freaks.
It’s awesome you always stand up for cops. All the fuck sticks that cry, oh that cop was mean can fuck off. It’s easy to judge when it’s not them doing the job day after day. Every day it’s people being cute and running their mouth. It takes a toll. Cops are human and can only take so much bullshit. I’d love to see anyone who judges do the job. Let’s see what their attitude is on day one and 10-20 years down the road. Maybe then they’ll understand and shut the fuck up.

I wonder: how much of popularity is driven by the performance/ dominance and how much is driven by likeability? Probably different for each person but I bet HWPO and PRVN base a lot of their popularity on the amazing performance of their founders

Hunter Larue is a very nice kid. Maybe the class move would be to put your arm around him and educate him, be a leader of men. not try and embarrass him.
This isn’t a very cool video. Hunter is an awesome and kind human who looks up to you guys and to have you call him names and tear him apart in a really fucking mean way is lame. He was excited to compete next to you specifically Taylor and had a ton of respect for you. Keep your mean ass comments to yourself.
