Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it. That video was actually my 1st plumbing job so imagine the level that I am at now.... like TVJ.. "just look at us now" 😃
That's correct. You use the flange if doing a replacement and the screws are rotten or if the pipe that comes out of the floor is too short. Also can be used for personal preferences.
@@plumbinginjamaica5381 okay, because I was told that since floor tile already and everything and it’s upstairs that the flange would be ideal.. but duly noted to what u said.. only going to use the wax then but I’m guess that the tile going to have to bore to use the floor to bowl screw
ok the long sweep is for easier flow and a hole saw could have been used to cut out the holes for the fittings very well done i love how you work very professional i am a subscriber
Plumber you can not attach a brass metal fitting to galvanized fittings. The two metals are of different properties. The danger is that you will have dissimilar metal corrosion. And that is going to cost the homeowners thousands in repairs in the future. Only metals of similar properties can be attached Example copper and brass perfect together.
@plumbinginjamaica5381 Viewers of your channel can look it up themselves, and they will determine if I'm correct or you. Dissimilar metal corrosion is a fact. This information can be easily found online. Just Google it. It's also basic chemistry.
@plumbinginjamaica5381 Why am I incorrect? Is dissimilar metal corrosion real? I'm not here to attack your plumbing skills. I saw something, and I made constructive criticism of it. We are all learning each day we live. We can't know everything. Each one teaches one. And that's the way we gain knowledge in life. I hope you don't remove this comment.
@plumbinginjamaica5381 That's a good question. I sent you two replies, and they are no longer on your comment page. There's a small plumbing store on shortwood Road in Kingston that sells many hard to find plumbing parts.
Thanks very much with your introduction I am able to fix my own at a young age that don’t got any skill lol respect bro really appreciate for the video 💯
Yes. Emediately where the water exists the tank or after where the water exists the pump to prevent the water from running the opposite direction when the pump is off.
