Wow! Chile! I can't believe it! (Sorry for the late response, I've been out of pocket for the past three weeks.) My first thought even before I got one minute into the video was that how close you are to the initial completion of your mission and then I saw the Tropic of Capricorn sign. What a milestone! Glad both of you as well as Vinny are doing fine Hope you enjoyed your trip home to see family & friends. We may have been on the same side of the pond at the same time! Looking forward to more adventures. As always, take care, my friends!
it's so refreshing to see some foreign people visiting the cool places from chile, but also kinda infuriating to see how they don't respect the transit law, starting from the stop sign from the beginning of the video, to some various infractions like running signs and overtaking cars on the road.
I hope you had a great time in my country. It's nice to have such beautiful images of various corners of this long and varied piece of our world. Just one comment, please do not enter the beach with your van, the beaches of Chile (and those of almost the entire world) are nesting places for shorebirds and seabirds, which are among the most endangered in the world. I would appreciate it if you could find designated places to camp or places that seem usable and do not harm the environment. You are absolutely right, we are a very bureaucratic country, full of rules and regulations, we hope you can abide by them and appreciate their value. I hope you enjoyed my beautiful Chile, much love.
Very nice video. I'm happy how you enjoyed so many things. Thee are yet hundreds of places and things to explore. There are also areas less touristy and if you search you can find a wide variety of prices but yes, in general the country is expensive, as you said it US people oriented/targeted. Also, during high season you'll find more people and higher prices. ML Antonio is the most visited park so it is going ro be very difficult not to find it crowded. I hope you keep enjoining our country, travel safe and God bless you.
The southernmost point in the American Continent is Cape Horn, Chile, and the southernmost town in the world is Puerto Williams, in Chile, south of Ushuaia, and the southernmost village in the world is Puerto Toro, also in Navarino Island, Chile.
Amazing video friends. About chileans loving rules or burocracy is mostly because of irresponsible tourists. We respect nature very much specially after an Israeli tourist burned 230.000 hectares in Torres del Paine in 2011. It was historically the worst damage our protected parks have had so the law is extremely strict with foreigners.
A lot of wrong statements but that's what we love about gringos: they don't know anything, they are very ignorant and yet they still dare to judge the world, from China to Russia, from North Korea to Venezuela and Latin America.... Amazing people.
I'm sorry about the incident at the beginning. I don't know how it is in other places, but here when you see a "Pare" sign you must stop, no matter who or what is in front of you, no matter if they are moving or stopped. He was just asking you to respect the signs. I hope you have a good stay, you are welcome. 😊
Bienvenidos! Welcome!
