I knew you two had it in you. Ecuador has a rainy season and a rainier season and after being for just over 2 years I can say that I get it. We do not live in the Amazon but have heard from my friends who are from the Amazon area of Ecuador of how torrential the rains can be compared to where we live. Keep up with your adventures and all the best in your travels.
