I did this same build pretty much. Put a Timney trigger in it and no joy. Put a Glock factory trigger in it and it was Pewville again. Lone Wolf frames are ergonomically excellent. But factory Glock parts only. Also had slide locking to the rear upon firing as if it was empty but with bullets still in the mag. My grip changed so much from a factory Glock to the Lone Wolf frame that I was actuating the slide lock and didn't even realize it. Had to change my shooting style a bit after 30 years. But, now it's A+
No. I would never use anything but hollow points for self defense. Full Metal Jackets are more prone to go through your intended target, and out the other side....possibly hitting an unintended target. Hollow points are best because they expand on impact. This does more damage to your intended target, but also...the bullet is slowed down in impact, so you you don't have to worry about it hitting much else.....
Thanks for the video! My standard TX22 was flawless till I added an optic, now I am experiencing FTEs. I see Tandemkross, Lakeline and Galloway all have replacement guide rods. Galloway offer 2 versions, 1 apparently is a reduced weight spring. Is your Tx22 with the TK guide rod still reliable as long as you keep it clean?
I bought some because they were cheap at PSA (still are). The problem is, there are so many videos that show these rounds as a miracle or a dud. Don't know what to think. I'll stick to my HST's or Gold Dots. Still wouldn't want to get stung by one though!
I'll say the Taurus tx22 competition we have works just fine most of the time when someone comes in with a Taurus they jam at least 5 times per range trip
@mishagofman1706 I don't personally use them cause I don't like them and I think their 9mm guns are a pos but working at a range I see them come in all the time and customers Taurus' constantly jam and from seeing that I'd rather put my life behind a glock or canik or something of that nature that I rarely see issues on or experience.

so its safe to say that with most ammo you need to aim but with Winchester super x..... your safe with "the general direction" can someone explain to me why super X is bad for home defense? and im talking like im in the corner of my room waiting for my door to bust open.... so like 15 feet max...... not gonna lie... Super X performed fine.The entire paper you have your circle drawn on is half your body width, all 9 pellets stayed in the paper! Perfectly acceptable accuracy for defense purposes!
When I saw you're from Texas, I knew it could be better than the ones from New Hampshire I sat through, or the one from New Jersey with the guy at a range with people from the hood in the background looking down the barrel of a loaded Keltec while his buddy tries to chamber a round with his finger inside the trigger guard. DON'T. They do run just about everything, but unless you like working on guns or don't mind dealing with the worst customer service in the industry stay away from them. They do break. They break alot. I see them as training pistols frequently (I instruct) and I see Taurus sights fall off, striker springs snap, and slides break. Yes, they run well, until they don't run at all.
Just starting out huh? Its ok man just keep practicing draw shoot, draw shoot. Its where the majority of new shooters lose a lot of time. That and stage planning. If i can make a suggestion that really helped me starting out. Start in production division, it forces tou to plan better and smooth out all the things that rob you of time.
