Like Shaun Williamson, Paul Ross is a celebrity quiz behemoth. Once you know he is on a team you know they will win. It would be fascinating to see them face off against each other! The Beast is always complimentary when a team performs well on him and it is close, but on the three clips here, he is sulky as anything. A bad reflection on his general performance.
why would he go any faster than he needs to, he went alot faster than it seems uswell as brad says he was on for over 25, he also got every question right
Dude, when the time advantage is the same down the board, I feel like its better to take on all of the chasers because the more there are, the more they trip over each other, and thats exactly what happened here. Had she only taken on 4 or less, i don't think she would have won. Especially since Mark was the 5th chaser, and he ultimately caused the biggest fumble
See, what’s funny is that Shaun eventually got his redemption-and revenge-this episode, by catching the full house who put up *20* with *1 second* on the clock! And then he makes sure everyone including Brad remembers this question: “Whippets this; whippets that. Oh well.”
I guess I should bring up something regarding Darragh’s final that I’m very surprised Brad didn’t: That last team that scored 19 (was really 18 with a push-forward) took *9 out of 9 pushbacks!* I believe that’s the joint-highest number of pushbacks executed by a team with 100% pushback accuracy, and only the second time this has been achieved. They really fought hard for that £9,000, which most people would consider a fairly paltry sum to go that all-out for (same case with the £6k bank from Shaun’s final). But the show is not about the big money; for this team especially, it was definitely about beating Darragh....although I imagine a lot of people by the end were like that schoolboy from The Simpsons, screaming *“Stop! Stop! He’s already dead!”* 😂😅
Hi 👋 I know you’re living in the UK but is it possible for you to upload any Australian versions of The Chase Australia, because I am Australian and I do not live in the UK
Spoilers ahead: Damn, James really hit the post on some questions, like the flag of Bahrain, Brave New World, Snow Leopard Cub and Samurai. That being said though, scoring 18 under that pressure was pretty good for a solo player.
@@violin01 It’s gonna be tough to take when the realisation hits that if just *_ONE_* of those wrong answers were rectified, he’d have been walking away with 75 grand. However, James can feel very proud knowing he put up a great fight against Anne (who, bearing in mind, has only lost to *3* solo & Lazarus players in 14 years as of typing this comment!).
@@T6448_P2 Just goes to show that Anne is really good and is the best chaser, beating her is really tough, I reckon he would have beaten the other chaser’s or stood a chance.
⚠️ *SPOILER WARNING* ⚠️ The poor man will never be able to look at another Rolls-Royce (or Lotus) car the same way again.... It’s a real shame, because I was honestly rooting for him as the clear shining star of that team, but alas, Anne’s only ever lost to 3 solo players (incl. Lazaruses) in 14 years, and that won’t be changing today. Btw, that jump-in at the end by Anne was *epic,* result aside 😆 Even I wasn’t sure if Brad would’ve gotten through the whole question at the pace with which he was reading it, so she had to anticipate what the end of the question could be and just guess the relevant answer. Overall, it felt like Anne was a little bit faster in this final compared to some of her others - *12.20 q/min* speed by the end.
Fantastic effort from James and and well played to both of them,I was hoping he would score 20, it’s been a while (although it feels like ages) since we had a solo 20+ but great final all round.
