Hey Brandon 🤙 I am a new subscriber to your channel and I have a question. I had an upgraded rsf 650 but I built it poorly and fried my battery. I want to start a new project and don't know what to choose. Mototec 48 volts and upgrade it like yours with the crf50 plastics and emc kit, or mx650 and upgrade it with the 5000 watt razor kit 2.1 and a new battery? I would also like to spend 3k or less because I'm 15 and am using my money. Love the videos!!
@@jettsieger2910 I'm not sure what you mean by regular 72450 kit? But here's my kit, what's included, and how to install. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Na08RfNQDco.htmlsi=6BJ8vN7FGgCaVLi_
Hi Brandon...very nice and helpful video. We all actually needs moore videos of how the harness actually will be fitted on a bike. Like this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TjPE-u4E414.html. And again thanks for a helping me with Siaecosys plugs/connection. Best regards HJ
Is this a Fardriver NS 72450 instead of the ND line? Curious to hear a pros thoughts of difference of the 2 lines. They appear no different scaling models in terms of watts and amps programmable etc, just on the Fardriver site the NS line was listed as new so I was intrigued
Yes and no, it's the same frame and some other stuff. But the b2 has a nice aluminum swing arm, aluminum bars, higher rated rpm qs120 motor, and a footbrake instead of a hand brake.
Sorry for the question, my amorge just arrived with its charger with xt60 connectors. I havent assembled anything yet but what is the purpose of the xlr male prong. If the battery was mounted, wired, and then needed a charge why not just use the included charger. ?
The b1 charge port is a xlr so the b1 battery came with a spare xlr and an adapter to go from xt60 to a 2 pin connector. The spare xlr isn't needed. The b1 battery comes with a 5 amp charger with the matching xlr. If yours came from amorge with a xt60 on the charger then that is what you'll have to use.
@@EmxBrandon thank you for the quick response. That makes life easiet for me. Now i did message amorge but havent heard back yet. Do you plug in charger to battery 1st and then into outlet, or outlet 1st then plug charger to battery. Also is it safe to charge the battery while its connected to the fardriver(of course with it keyed off amd powered off)
@ilkzode1822 i always do outlet first then battery. Don't really know if that makes a difference tbh. And yes it's safe to charge the battery while it's hooked up to the charger. You can even turn it on to check the volt meter periodically to help judge when it will be done charging.
Oh yeah, the quality is much better on the real deal. Feels super smooth. But realistically both throttle response don't feel any different when plugged into the same controller.
@@EmxBrandon yeah it's a dirt bike but it doesn't have a clutch which frees up your left hand to work the front brake much more precisely? Or am I off? this is how I have mine set up but it's not a b2
@anieba that's way off my friend, even the starg varg has the front brake above the throttle and the option to put the back brake on the left hand side. All motorcycles/dirtbikes use right hand front because you only brake when you roll off the throttle. I can see being used to a mtb bike since those are opposite. But try doing a wheelie where you need to control the throttle and the rear brake, doing it with one hand is gonna be near impossible.
@@EmxBrandon my rear is foot brake just like this bike. I have an old surron frame I modded the shit out of replaced everything on it. When I tried front brake on left side it felt amazing. Maybe I'm alone. I also have a yz250 I haven't really ridden in years cause the little surron is way more fun
That's all a matter of preference! I know alot of razor guys who run their brakes mtb style but they don't really do wheelies or anything. If it's comfy for you then run it! But you will have to change it if you get one!
Mine hasn't been stock for a very long time. Yes it definitely feels cheap, but that shpuld be expected of a $1000 kids electric pitbike. But that doesn't take away how fun they are! Just don't take it serious or expect to be racing tracks with it.
Which controller would be suitable for my 72 V, 20 amp power lithium-ion battery with a continuous discharge capacity of 120 AMP and a maximum charge current of 10 AMP? And where should I get it from?
@@EmxBrandon yes they do. I have been building custom batteries for bikes for a while and need to get my hands on a b2 and a tape measure so I can get people all the volts!
Just finished up my first mototec build out, followed your fardriver vids, little bike rips now! Thanks for your really excellent guidance, you are a good teacher, I found it easy to follow along. Take care brother, big storm headed right for you!
