Thanks Brandon for the thorough review of our 15mm stem and bushing kit. With more and more people getting into the e-moto scene we knew it was time to put some science and proper mechanical knowledge back into these aftermarket parts. Appreciate you taking the time to break it down so everyone can understand and learn. Keep up the great content and builds!

This is insane. Just got the adapter kit through econiccycles. Right on the order page is a link to the aliexpress forks its supposed to be compatible with, the tdpro 630mm forks. Tried to use their bushing kit and exactly mirrored your problem. This is inexcusable. Goes to show they knew it wouldnt kit perfect and would expect customers to sand dowm their newer bushings. Man it goes to show most posters regardless of facebook/youtube are out for their own personal gains. We live in such weird and difficult times so i see how many companies regardless of its razor dirt bikes, coffee, whisky, power tools etc... are posting to make a monetary gain. Your video is one of the most recent breath of fresh air, natural and humble ive seen in a long time. Crazy thing is that same company posted a recent picture on a razor facebook group of how they got dozens more bushing kits in stock

Man I hope things get better but unfortunately everyone just follows the hype and keeps these guys selling subpar products.

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with another vendor's bushing kit. We have had multiple customers reach out to us reporting the same issue. If you need any support with your setup or future builds please feel free to reach out. Lastly, we couldn't agree more that Brandon's videos are extremely helpful and we hope it spreads awareness throughout the Razor communities.

Hell yeah! Those 25mm to 15mm bushings are hard to find and expensive when you do find them! Appreciate you! 🤘🏻👊

Find some thin washers with the same ID as stem and OD as the crush tube for filling the space. I had to do this to upgrade to a 15mm bolt on Midwest's 1st gen fork kit. It came with a dinky 10mm bolt.

Forks could twist at high speed maybe so good job 👍

Put a few washers to keep it tight,or a bigger berring
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
It's already tight, no extra washer needed. It uses a lock nut on the end aswell.

My ride or die forks have been pretty good, what do you think about them? Are you only talking about adapters for real pitbike forks?
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
I'm only talking about the adapters. Personally I think the 48/45 fork tubes are just too heavy and stiff for how light these bikes are. I prefer the 39/42s off the mototec and bombmoto!

The bike is made to go slow,
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
It is indeed. But that don't stop people from hitting crazy speeds. Just gotta make sure you have supporting mods like suspension and brakes!
@DescartesRenegade

I see a lot of people lowering the tubes too far, beyond the point where the taper changes. The tubes only line of defense against piercing through someone's chin is the top clamp, the bottom clamp is on the wrong part of the taper. It's supposed to be on the same part of the taper as the top clamp; tapering up.
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
Which is why I said it's going to be changed. But it is still on the taper regardless and even if it could push through the clamps the handle bars won't let them go through. I'm very aware of how fork tubes and triple clamps work!

Huh strange the first adapters are like that. I’ve never messed with a kit because i thought it was common sense how those go together, and easily just made my own…. I do find it strange that the razor community is very quick to adopt these dudes products that have had no previous fabrication OR riding experience but yet they still are able to thrive. It always obvious to me who those people are but also the community should do a little better job scrutinizing some of these guys. They tend to attack the larger companies who are actually doing things right, albeit usually at a premium, but that’s the cost for not figuring ish out yourself i suppose.
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
100% perfectly said. What really gets me is some of these community members will get defensive over some constructive criticism because it's their "boys" company or product, and then come to find out the guys defending these unfinished parts aren't even using them on their bikes! It is definitely crazy people will attack companies like electro & co but like you said they take the time to do it right and make sure the end product is safe and functions the correct way. I just hope for the community sake we can turn this kinda stuff around and help each other make proper stuff and not get so stirred up over some genuine advice!

What is that abomination?? Where is the pressed in stem?? They come with pressed in stems ,and taper bearing. Please don't go over 10mph with that set up!
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
It's a razor mx500, they come with standard bearings not tapered bearings. So triple trees need to be adapted. It's already been done twice on this channel with my old sx and rsf with no issues at all, both 50mph bikes lol. But regardless this bike is definitely due for an overhaul, my buddy bought a bunch of razor stuff with this bike included and it's gonna be an animal when we are done!
@Vmaxfodder

@EmxBrandon just went through the frustration on my scooter with these 45-48mm forkshocks. Using hd 7/8 to 1in bearing cups . It came with a 22 and 23mm stem bearings . 44mm od . Just to be sure nothing I can find will work out. Hah ha. So much machining will have to be done ! Can I ask if those forks work OK for you?
@EmxBrandon
@EmxBrandon 3 месяца назад
@Vmaxfodder it's always a pain being the first to try and do a fork swap on something like your doing! These forks are just way to long and way to stiff for how light these little razors are. They definitely need to be swapped out with something lighter.
