It can be challenging to judge the exact angle of an animal in long grass like that. It looked pretty much square on but the entry and exit proved otherwise. And in a situation like that there’s only two options. Bring the impact forward and mess up the off side shoulder or risk rupturing the rumen. Either way is not perfect but what a great demonstration of how to handle rumen spills when they occur.
You brits are dam stylish. Us yanks are more practical, never wore a suit and tie to hunt, you boy's are quite funny. I guess us Americans are a little rough around the edges.
BEWARE- Just shot here , a tad disappointed, 200 bird pheasant day promised & paid for ,mainly partridges, just a money making exercise. Been to a lot better smaller game shoots.

when you learn to shoot a springer accurately , you have grin forever ..can hit a 1 inch target at 50 m , 50% of the time .. getting the windage right is the key
They are not moving the gun, but adjusting the scope to move the crosshairs to the first bullet hole. After doing that, then they aim the gun back at the bullseye. I think they skipped that step in their explanation
