Very important to point out that delegating services costs money and you must have revenue a good amount of revenue. Marketing can cost from 2000- 20,000 a month plus every other expense that you have. Now if you have 30-40 K of revenue coming in then delegation is good
Thank you ! On it at this time and its so much info to obtain. I gave myself a 15min break researching after studying. I'm currently taking Xcel both Life/Health and I am really absorbing the info. The chapter exams are tricky questions I see but I am researching as to where to stray after I complete it out. Thank you for this vide.
Sure, the test isn't as hard as you think it will be for Accident and Health. Feel free to give me a call after you're licensed (323)844-8471 and I'd be happy to walk you through how the industry works and how to get your first clients etc.
Hi Arturo, P and C is pretty rough right now so I would go directly into ACA and add on personal lines or P and C when the market gets better. I would start ACA / Medicare as it's good right now.
Field Marketing Organization. It's a top of hierarchy agency that helps you with your production. No skin off your back. FMOS get paid overrides based on your production from carriers so we give co-op money to help with your business, lead sources, trainings, etc.
Absolutely, I'd go on indeed or ask who's hiring in our facebook group. Once you learn your chops, then you can go and be independent if that's what you want. What city are you out of?
Hey Andrew, thanks for the video. Around 10:00 when you're talking about the out of pocket maximum and bundling, would you expand a little on that? It's not making complete sense to me. Thanks!
Hi, yes if you wanted to present a hospitalization supplemental plan, then I would recommend bringing it up while you're talking about hospitalization and the out of pocket maximum. Just so the client can see the numbers and how it works for them. So if you quoted them a 10k cancer policy for example, really break it down so they know how much of that out of pocket maximum that supplemental plan will cover.
I believe that A business plan should be in placeI think living expense should be factored, You operational expense should be factored. Understand how to do a P/L statements understand GROSS vs Net so that you understand what your earning are vs what your business income is. Take some basic business classes understand operation and business flows
1. Entry level to low; 2. No business plan; 3. Do not understand it is a business; 4. Do not have enough money for your business and personal expenses;5. Do not have proper training; 6 not having complete disclosures on the elements of this business such as taxes, operational expenses, charge backs lack of understanding that you will be wearing multiple business hats and responsibilities that go beyond most licensed professionals. You will not make money for about 5 years at least a professional income 150k plus and on and on I can write a book
Just had the opportunity to watch this video. Thank you Andrew and congratulations on starting this youTube videos. I loved this information I've had my lincense for a while but really new to practicing this industry
I have regular job in federal and wanted to do this on part-time basis, but HMO pushing me to work full-time and cut my hours from my current job just to get my foot in their level of sales. I would never give up my federal job for 15 years. This is my retirement. Thank you for this video.
