Home health nurses do general assessments, wound care, blood draws, injections, PICC line care, Pleurx draining, trach care, catheters, and patient teaching. There’s more but this is what immediately came to mind. Of course all of this depends on the company you work for… HH nurses don’t assist with ADL’s. That’s either the patient/family’s job or they may have a home health aide to come in for that.
for the time for working for services for A & L Home Health as Home Health CNA/HHA did the best could with my efforts and try to be able to go through schooling funding was hard for me I was happy and dedicated to those did the best for my ways of for what could do for the patients even efforts surely like to try to go back for when can even if its to be work with those in area in hospital for the services glad to be of service along asides the wonderful people that encourage me and medical staff that were over me.
