I'm not sure the exact db but it's not loud. You'll hear it, but it's not deafening.

I usually get two 50lb bags of pool sand from a local pool supply store. Then I fill it to the max fill line. It usually takes just a little over 1 bag. You could get away with 1 bag probably.

I installed a pool skimmer basket to catch floating bugs & dirt before they sink to the bottom. You don't have to vacuum as much with the pool skimmer basket.

@@jimmymoon6362 Yes. The skimmer basket that attaches to the pool is separate from the pump

It you don't have any air in the hose, you won't see any water movement in the basket. As long as you feel suction at the inlet and see a jet of a water going back into the pool on the outlet side, you're good.

It comes with the gray plastic base. But the white wooden stand was something we built for it to sit on.

Yes we drain it. You don't have to though. You can cover it and let it sit. Then shock it clean in the Spring.

Just press the power button to turn off the pump

It has a timer but for more control it's best to use a smart plug with it.

The filter uses sand as the filter media. You'd still want to add chlorine to the pool water.

No, we haven't had any issues with the door seal.

Usually 30 minutes or so when it kicks on.

No - never had an issue with leaking water yet. WIll keep an eye on it though.
