I agree that people that choose university careers such as marketing, arts, and other careers that are way too common and dont have a lot of job offerings are not doing themselves a favor and will be frustrated in the future.
When I went to the university in the late 1960's tuition was only about $300.00 p/semester plus the cost of books. So it was a huge bargain. My degree in agriculture economics allowed me to gain entry in the Peace Corps and work in the Amazon of Brazil. My life was changed forever and it was because of my university degree. Which lead to a life in the the travel business!
So, let me get this straight. You don't have a Thai Driver's License, but you are driving a car to the driving test. If you did that in Australia, they would immediately take your license off you. Well, if you had a license, they would.

This advice is terrible lol. University is crucial for securing good jobs. It’s not just about the degree; university also makes you a better listener, speaker, and all around person. Plus, you make valuable connections. While it doesn't guarantee a job in your field (only the top students are usually guaranteed, so study hard), it significantly increases your chances in other areas. A friend of mine with honors in IT finished his degree and was immediately employed by a mining giant in a cushy IT manager position, earning over $200k in his 20s without breaking a sweat. It's not always about the immediate money; the money will come, it's about job satisfaction, career progression, and long term stability. A fulfilling job can lead to personal growth, a better work life balance, and opportunities for advancement that wouldn't be available otherwise. Having a degree often opens doors to leadership roles and specialized positions. Not everyone is a Steve Jobs or a Zuckerberg. A degree is always a solid backup. I've seen friends fail in business after years of trying and still get cushy jobs unrelated to their degrees, but they secured them because of their university education. Conversely, I've seen friends from high school with failed businesses end up in laboring jobs with 4am-6am start times because they don't have a degree. They are miserable, wasting money on lotto tickets every week, and wondering how they'll get out of their situation. Not saying every person without a university degree is miserable, or everyone with a uni degree is in cloud 9 but it's clear that a university education is not a scam. University debt should be the least of anyone's worries in the grand scheme of life.
My university gave me so much knowledge, but mostly connections. One of my university friends got her first job after the first year but continued her studies, I joined her after the second year but continued my studies. We are both successful thanks to the uni, and that first job. We don't practice the degree we received, but we definitely practice some knowledge and skills. However, if I paid for my uni, I would probably have more negative things to say about it. Mine was completely free for 5 years, they even paid me a bit so I could buy books and some food😀
Disappointing video. You don't hear of the many who dropped out of college and are mixed in debt. These people don't make the headlines. Drop out successes are few and far between.
It's not the responsibility of the "college" to get you a job....it's your responsibility. Countless other benefits of attending university. Best time of your life spending 4 years with your peers.
Yes, that’s guy paid for 5,000 and get the license and don’t need to do any test but those licenses is a fake license. if anything bad happened on the road when police check in the system where the license come from then police will see no data showing in the system then that’s guy will get a big trouble driving without license and using a fake license to drive

School didn't work for me and I dropped out after 1,5 years of IT study. Now im a freelance 2D animator and traveling the world while doing that. So yeah, couldn't agree more you really don't need to follow the 'regular' path. People in the real world don't care what college degrees or diplomas you have, they care about the quality of product you deliver.
The responsibility of the college is to give you an education not give you a job. Whether your skills are marketable for money is a personal responsibility.

I traveled a lot over 30years Is living in New Zealand has become expensive I'm not the greatest tech guy😏 in the world I'm currently. Unemployed, I am in my 50s now, but fit and healthy. Would love to find a way to get into some sort of income online?. As I would wish to live Somewhere like Thailand or Vietnam. Appreciate any advice. Which online things I could do?. University should be subsidized by the government. It’s never a bad idea to learn. I just think that going into massive debt over it is indeed a scam and a terrible thing to start your adult life with. There is of course societal pressure in many countries and communities to go to university straight out of high school and that needs to stop. We need more blue collar and skilled workers.
