They are super skilled with rowing with the feet. Our boat operator used her feet as well. I think they all do. It’s much easier than straining their upper body.

I was surprised at how busy it was for this time of the year. I figure that type of crowd would happen in April onwards when the weather is nicer and the rice fields are a gorgeous green color. When were you guys there? BTW, depending on the place you go, those boats will carry up to 4 Vietnamese (or 2 Westerners from my understanding). As far as the people trying to stop you to park at their place, just keep going all the way through to the gates and see if there's parking. If not, then you can always turn around (but seeing how busy it was there, you might as well park further out). Very few vloggers actually explore Tam Coc city itself and it's actually a neat little city with some cool temples that I saw in a recent video. It's also pretty at night.

OMG- me and my friend were there and it was such a beautiful place. We took the tour on water through the water caverns/caves and had a wonderful experience.

Did you guys travel to the middle of Vietnam yet? There are bunch of beautiful places there in the middle of Viet Nam like Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hoi An and Bana Hills.

It so easy for Australian tourist and other countries talking about how bad Vietnamese altitude and rude. But if you travel to Paris and speak English , you going to face a very tough time in the restaurant , hotel, shopping centre, public places . The waiters make you wait or ignore you completely when other customer came later and got their food on the table. If you ask for direction , they show you different direction to the actual location or even provoke you . Loyd can tell the audience how safe for him when he in South American countries. Tourist could lose their life over a Iphone." I and the phone, not you , give it to us now. "😲

Wow, what month were you there? It's surprising to see it looking so cold! We were there in rainy season, and were still sweating through tank tops! Loved Ninh Binh though, one of our favourite places in Vietnam!

Hi Lloyd and Mandy! I think you both have great personalities and I really enjoy your videos.Please be careful out on the roads.Here in Thailand were I live the traffic its very very dangerous.I would not recommend driving a motorcycle here.Also,please try to get helmets and never ever drink and drive.

Ninh binh was pretty unexpectedly a good trip for me as well. I'm uploading the same excursion vlog soon. I hope you can support. I have been subscribed to you since long time! The tam coc boat ride was the best part of the trip. The worse part was the 'limousine' they gave us haha

Nice video! Im going to be there next week, cant wait. Im guessing this video was made recently? You are wearing puffy coats, which is a surprise as the forecast looks like really warm temps. I was only planning on bringing shorts and tshirts....but your puffy coats and wool hats are making me question what i am bringing. Also, what time of day were you there?

It is ok for shorts & T shirts in April It is above 20 degree at that time, now is the time of changing, 4 days ago I must wear coat for going out but now T shirts is enough. Still there are some suddenly light cold day but it is need a thin coat that you easily to buy within 10 usd in Vietnam Never worry about clothes when you come to Vietnam,1 of 5 most garment suppliers of the world

They have numerous shops with all kinds of warm weather clothing to buy there. I would at least bring layers and a warm jacket, and closed toe shoes. Or, just buy new gear in Vietnam.

@@elsienorback7689 thanks, yes.....lived in SE Asia for 10+ years, so am aware i can buy clothes in Vietnam. The release date of the video was yesterday, showing puffy's and the woman said she was wearing 3 pairs of pants.....however the weather forecast is for warm/hot temps, so i was unsure what the discrepancy was. The first reply answered the question. It only started to warm up recently.

It looks very touristy. Unfortunately, Vietnam (and all of Southeast Asia) seems to be overcrowded with tourists at the moment. What is your impression?

Hey we are here right now as well! It’s way less touristy than Thailand was and we are finding that depending on the activity you do you can find lots of tourist or not. Hopefully the rest of SE Asia isn’t as bad!

Hi Lloyd and Mandy. I enjoy watching your vlogs but it freaks me out that your not wearing helmets. As a nurse I've seen many head and brain injuries that resulted from people not wearing helmets. Not a nice site seeing people with half their skull caved in and severe brain damage.

Are you crazy dude ? FYI , In the past the chinese always tried to conquer Vietnam but they never succeeded . Vietnam was , is and will be always Vietnam . The few chinese people who live in VN are always considered as immigrants by the Vietnamese . We call them " khach tru " which means guest-residents. Their ancestors came to our country as refugees , merchants , workers and farmers .
