Work is work. So if you wear them to whatever job you have, then they are your work boots. Folks so insecure about what constitutes real work… I’ll tell you: Wherever the hell you go day in/day out to make a paycheck to survive in this lifetime. That’s real work. Quit crying about what shoes folks choose to wear. Good day.
Did anyone notice any residue on their white sneakers using this method? I just asked chatgpt and it said cleaning with laundry detergent would be more advisable. 1:1 is pretty concentrated for castile soap. Also a laundry detergent contains enzymes and a bunch of other fancy chemicals. Any negative experiences here?
I've heard that a 1:3 ratio is best for castile soap and that applying foaming soap is preferable to applying liquid soap, especially when it comes to suede.
@@miaomiaochan Oh yeah castile soap did leave yellow residue on my white sneakers that may be permanent. Good old laundry detergent delivered best results. Also water quality matters; the cleaner the better.
I have these same boots in 8085. I just love them. Great quality and destined for lifetime wear. I agree with your style of care. I live in a very dry climate and will add a conditioner when they begin to look dry. I'm a lifelong motorcyclist and have lots of leather gear experience in a harsh environment. These are not Florsheim's.... let that patina show!
The music is too loud man, I’m sorry I don’t wanna be nit picky or a critic buh i can barely hear you Im interested in what you say buh the music is loud
I’m breaking in a pair I sized down from a 10.5 to 8.5. My other boots are a redwing 8” steel toe that were tight and snug brand new at the size 10.5. I can’t believe how much I sized down but the size I chose fits me just right on the new iron rangers. The copper tone color is amazing. I’ve had them for 2 months. I don’t get to wear them too much because I didn’t buy them for work I have that covered already.
@@matttherrien9608 I absolutely love the copper rough and tough. They are amazing. That’s what I have. It’s some really amazing leather. It’s has very good pull up and scratches buff out simply. All I do is sprits it with water out of a bottle that mists and then buff with a horse hair brush. It’s almost like suede in a way. Hard to explain.
@@tallica4life81 I want them to rest my black ones every other day. Then I'll want Amber Harness. That should do it. (Right)lol. Then I want a pair of f****** Sawmills for the Canadian winter!
Common projects is over rated, look at the eyelets got only six eyelets those little too far apart that’s why creasing so easily, they said the brand is luxury because they want to sell that price , I know is not worth it to pay $410.00 , think before making purchase.
Its pronounced Hohoba even though its spelled Jojoba. Its a very oily oil that is VERY hard to dissolve with ANYTHING! Coconut is another oil. So he's saying just add water to two oils it up, shake it up and scrub it in? Hmmm. I haven't watched the whole video yet but it would defnintely take some kind of soap--Dr. Bronners castille--or whatever to emulsify these two oils. I use Dr. Bronners for everything--including my hair and body....BUT...I add a few drops of a dishwashing liquid that has sodium lauryl sulphate in it so that my shampoo version emulsifies better. SLS is not great for your body--but I figure 3 drops in an 8 oz bottle of Dr. Bronners soap won't kill me--and it lathers up and cleans my hair much better that way. OF COURSE... you could just use dishwashing liquid to do this project. Or if my mesh sneaks were super dirty, I would use my All Purpose DIY cleaner --equal parts of white vinegar and dishwashing liquid microwaved for 2 minutes. Its amazing stuff! Use it to clean my bath tub and oven. Its the best ever. Or if that didn't get my sneaks clean I'd use Spic and Span powder in water with a splash of ammonia--also great for cleaning anything. OR my best ever solution for clean sneakers is --- waaaait for it-- DON'T WEAR THEM! I stopped going to the gym and running outdoors and now my sneaks stay bright white for months!
Do not want to troll you but you need to do research before recording your video, are these Copper not brown color 0:38? and the Nitrile Cork are the soles of the boot not the insoles1:40
I bought theses some months ago and regretted it. They are the least comfortable boots I own. They look nice but that's definitely the highlight. No way I can wear these as a work boots with the sole hard as a tack. The "midsole" is ephemeral bordering on nonexistent. The outsole taps loudly down the hallway like a high heal. My feet don't hurt wearing other boots, but they hurt before lunchtime in these clogs right here. The huge lie that makes this all possible is "you have to break them in" - don't believe it! I've worn these for months. If you don't have a leather fetish or don't need to follow fashion, you could be disappointed and three hundred bucks poorer. Buy normal boots
