Not really, only second phase fishron can reliably one shot you. Funnily every projectile counts as an entity in this fight so bubbles and sharks deal 350+ damage too
Ok, I take it. Don't build a huge arena for fishron. Gee, could've just done a post on reddit... Fr tho, good job, and it actually is helpful, as I never understood his phase 3 pattern before.
No clue, this was pretty easy so I wouldn't consider it a challenge, it was basically my practice fight hitless minus the armor and accessories which only makes the fight longer, not harder(at least directly). I'm thinking of doing empress with the same restrictions(not pre-mech ofc)
Yeah, title is hitting char limit but I wouldn't add it anyways since it barely does anything when you can reforge only your weapon EDIT: Changed my mind lol
what's the reasoning behind cursed bullets over something like crystal bullets? I'm not certain but I would have thought crystal bullets to be better considering each shard hits duke's big hitbox. Also are there any other weapons you've done this with? how did those go were they slower or faster or less reliable etc.
I came back to terraria recently so I forgot those were are a thing, but yeah they should be 100% better. I tried using titanium repeater and shadowflame knife(with no golden shower for some reason, only realizing this now) but the uzi got the fastest time to get him from phase 1 to 2 even though bullet weapons suck against the targets with high defense so it was no doubt the best weapon out of 3. Firstly I had no secondary weapon but for hitless run no piercing for phase 2 isn't really cutting it so I tried using night's edge and got demolished because that thing can attack only a few targets at a time and lastly I swapped the bullets to cursed and equipped golden shower which was a successful attempt
As it also states in description I would rather use dart pistol with ichor darts because that thing demolishes him in phase 3 which is the only dangerous one
@@lilguy7842 I've never beaten empress lmao(I watched a lot of theory on this topic but never forced myself to start the fight). The only boss I really spent a lot of time practicing is duke because with his loot you can skip most of the hardmode. I'm pretty sure there's a video of no accessories no armor already, you just need to search it up, it also uses no mount while with broom it'd be easier
In some paper server the macro doesn't work properly because of server side lag. So can you kindly provide the AHK script so that i can change some values?
Cool strategy. But I feel like the easiest way to kill dfly is actually tanking with marble suits. You probably get the same dps. This way is cheaper tho
In my case the raid captain bank no longer works due to entities on boats now sit higher so you can change out the slab the boat sits on for a trap door (preferrably iron). Everything else work fine
okay no I need to make a comment. cheesing doesn't just mean doing something that makes the fight easier, or require no effort. it's using mechanics that weren't intended to be used, including bugs. blocking off the lavae in any way is cheesing. you're abusing mob pathing AI in order to make the fight easier. something like panfluting isn't cheesing as its intended.
You have to like... wait till day 75 before the bearger comes and it's the first time I'm hearing about armored bearger. This is called "easiest way" because it decreases the difficulty of the fight and has basically the lowest fight preparation requirements, unless you do this as a weremoose or something which is very limited
Idk why would you need to farm dragonfly in late game. If you wanna gems you can just do fuelweaver ruins cycle as it gives a lot more gems and other stuff too, if you want scales you can duplicate them with construction amulet/deconstruction staff via the turf
@@vinegar358 because killing bosses repeatedly is the only way to play the late game. The other alternative is to mega base, but if you wanna build I would reccomend minecraft or factorio. The game has so many of these little core flaws that I resided to cheese strats so I wouldn't lose my mind over trying to make this game make sense.
Blocking lavae is cheesing, but so is using panflute to stop enraged form. Whether you agree or disagree with me, I can say for sure that nobody wants to fight dfly the "normal" way which is without doing any of what I said earlier. Your choice... I'd say that "intended" way to deal with lavae is to freeze them with an ice staff and using panflute is intended way to skip enraged form but whatever... Cool strategy, liked it!
