I use to have an old school mindset, but after living that life, not anymore. One place I worked at would brag about how they never have laid anyone off. They would give you 15 hrs a week if need be if you’re part time. I was promoted twice, and they would work me full time, but cut my hrs back at the end of the quarter so that I worked just under full time. Full time comes wit a higher pay, or I should say part time a lower pay. I could go on.
It’s funny how these kids don’t want to work for shit, they want it all handed to them like some Dino nuggets. This is what happens when you spoil your kids. It’s not hard to make money. It’s not hard to succeed. You simply have to put in the work necessary. You can drive a bus and buy a home in 2yrs. What are these idiots talking about?! If you have no education you get left behind. Simple math. Stop crying and get a trade you fuckin pussies.
Yeah these people have no idea what it's like to be a union member. The old heads in my local live a very good life and should most definitely be proud.
Worked for a company 2 years, business closes down and wasnt offered to be transferred but workers who has only been there a few months were and offered a ride to the other location. They tried getting me to come there because guess what, those workers left within a few days. Told them to go do themselves
You’re a low level nothing that’s why. You don’t matter to that company because you bring nothing to them they can’t get from any other applicant. You are worthless.
She spoke the truth, wtf are you talking about? Jobs now have no loyalty. The majority of them don't have retirement plans because they don't expect people to last there long enough to retire. Most people are treated as disposable, job security is a thing of the past. I'm in the mid range of experience in IT and I can confidently say, me and everyone I know in the company could get let go in one meeting. It happens all the time now. Department heads getting let go after 15 years left and right. Mass layoffs are so common now in most industries.
Worked my ass off as a draftsman for 6 years and didn't get a thing. Raises were a joke. Only way I'm making it up the ladder now is getting a job, learning a new skill, and hopping to the next with more skill. I've worked at a sawmill as a machine operator and ironworker (non union). Times have definitely changed.
@tatsuhirosatou5513 One, AI can't replace what I do and two, communication is a big chunk of my job, Indian tech centers can't do my job 💀 We have to be extremely accurate, they would never trust anyone out of the states with my particular job. You sound very defensive for someone who knows nothing about what they are talking about or who you are talking to, you don't know what I do yet you claim things about my job 🤣
My dad worked for a company for a little over 20 years. One morning he had a heart attack walking into work. They wouldn't even call him an ambulance, and then they fired him.
We were on our way home from New York to Washington state and my wife had to be hospitalized for a couple days in Minnesota and I can confirm that they were the nicest people we ever met in life.
I saw them live recently for the very first time with my 5 year old daughter in St. Petersburg Florida! It was so much fun! They were amazing live. I have been listening to them daily since high school. I love every album they have done! It was so special to see them with my daughter. ❤😊
So sad to hear how Limp treated her backstage after choosing her. You would’ve never known if Rafe didn’t say something. Thank you Lern for being class act.
I had a guy wave his gun out the window at me one day because I tried to pass him on a 2 lane road… the funny part was in was a little hot pink pistol 😂
