A gameplay series that shows off the various ways you can play the Magic: The Gathering format: Commander. With a few misplays along the way.. 🎮🔮💜💚 #Stay🌟
Nice video! I’m new to cedh and really just want to see different builds. This was a helpful starting point. Appreciate the breakdown and explanations too 👍🏽
3min into the video and I stopped. As usual those combos have nothing to do with Chatterfang nor squirrels despite being Golgari colors; and only the first combo.
Why are you playing terrible win cons. The food chain is fine but why the murderous redcap and persist cards and +1+1 cards. You're drawing your deck you could be playing good cards and much cleaner win cons like chain of smog and Liliana or witherbloom apprentice. Or praetors grasp for someone else's thassas oracle.
It's mainy because of the way I play Korvold. I'll usually only cast Korvold when I have the Food Chain/Squee combo set up. Or, if im set up to draw 3+ with him the turn he comes out. Without him in play both those cards cost too much mana. So I opted for cards like Veil of Summer. Regardless, those are both great suggestions. Thanks! 🤘😊
Just discovered your channel. Also am of the Korvold Court. My list is about 8 cards different from yours and would love to try your suggestions and see how it impacts consistency. I also play persist combo with the reason being that creature counters are in short supply at this end of the format, and targeted removal is at an all time low. My win rate is 7% better since making the change.
No problem! Zaxara: tappedout.net/mtg-decks/zaxara-queen-of-the-infinite/ Korvold: www.moxfield.com/decks/BFu2HTkKWkeEyZxxuENVjA Dhalsim: www.moxfield.com/decks/CV6j1t1TkkyJX58bAp0teQ Unfortunately, Zoe never made a list for his Sheo deck.
Welcome to magic!! It's a lot to type out. If you go to my deck tech video on Korvold (link below) and just watch the first 2 mins I explain how it wins. Let me know of that helps. :) If not I can messege you! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yjNB1LOB2ZE.html
Nice, but treasure rush Korvold is more eficient and play more shock lands for triggers to Korvold and play more reanimators spells for dockside.Bolas citadel is great addition for the deck btw.
I usually use the full length of the card paper then put over a land, I'm def not going to spend money on proxying my 40-90$ cards -.- I'm already struggling with whether I want to buy a doubling seasons for my atraxa
For those still watching this to build their own horde deck, you should definitely add a variety of different board wipes to your horde deck for as many permanent types as you can, rather than only creature spells. It helps keep the survivors from just snowballing into an unbeatable boards like these guys did.
Was hoping to see some fun archenemy gameplay but everyone except the archenemy gave off such negative vibes, so many complaints and I felt the "unfun" through the screen and couldn't watch past 15 minutes. Not my cup of tea but kudos for putting up an archenemy video!
Not gunna lie.. there was a lot of salt from the defending players. It gets that way sometimes. Without spoiling the ending, I will say by the time it was over we shook hands and admitted a good game. I appreciate you giving the video a chance and thanks for the feedback! 😊
@@bobgood6695 New episode is out now! This is not the episode where he uses Pir and Toothy though. He plays them on the next video ill have come out in a few weeks 😁
10:55 why is Pir not helping the team with +1/+1 counters?😢 come onnn Jose!!!😢…after watching the video to it’s completion, I see it was not necessary😂 #ProxyLife
Jose appreciates it! For context, during the time of the recording he was getting over a cold and this was also during the hight of the pandemic. He wanted to wear a mask for his own peace of mind. 😊
@@EverythingEDH1 this was 11 months ago, but I wanna ask if he still is using our and toothy. Maybe he can try my pir and toothy deck. Pretty wild how it turned out. 😅
@@bobgood6695 He still has it. I believe he used it in a video that I should have out by the end of this month. Do you have a Moxfield? If you send me the link I can tell him to check the comments and he will look it over. 😊
@@bobgood6695 yooooo Im down to check it out. Pir and toothy are my favorite commanders. I was really only wearing the mask because this was the first time meeting them and I wanted them to like me for me and not my ridiculous good looks.
I have an Animar deck as well, but mine is more on the CEDH side of power level. I dont like your mana rocks personally. The only ones I run are mana positive colored mana (colorless mana is useless after turn two) like lotus petal and Chrome Mox. Mana dorks over land ramp too. Dorks late game at least put counters on Animar. You don't need to draw more than four or five lands total. You need combo lines like spellseeker/neoform. Finale is a great card, but in Animar you should be running Weird Harvest. And instead of Cyclonic I run Tidespout Tyrant, but I think most people are playing Hullbreaker Horror. It's important to find creatures with similar abilities of the spells effects that you want. It looks like this deck wants to do two completely different things. Animar isn't a ramp deck.
A definite good piece to swap in is Thundering Mightmare. Each time an opponent casts a spell, it and animar get a +1/+1 counter. If you get it out early and pass, the table will buff animar before your turn comes around again. Also only 1 green devotion in the casting cost, making it easy to play with limited mana as long as you have animar out
Nick and Michael being upset with Alonzo made me think about that video where the brother shoots off the cap gun in the living room scaring the other brother and he says THIS IS WHY MOM DOESNT FUCKING LOVE YOU!!! Haha great video fellas! Keep 'em coming!
