Jour 32. Je cherche l'episode 02 depuis desormais plus d'un mois. Des indices me laissent a croire que l'episode 01 etait en fait l'episode 02, mais ceux ci se font rare. Je continue ma quete dans l'espoir de retrouver l''episode perdu.
I love the mountains. Their raw, unforgiving nature, i want to get lost in. I do have mountaineers in my family, but our relationship is not close enough to ask them to teach me, so i am trying to get into this scene by myself. Next summer, i will have my first summit.
Nice to see videos from you again. Good luck on your journey! I think you will profit greately from your acro experience. You will be good at controlling the wing and this will even help with thermaling. Regarding the weather: I know that you are a very experienced pilot but pleas tell the audience that flying during Föhn is generally not a good idea and should be avoided expect you know exactely what ypu are doing. Take care, and dont fly to close to the ground otherwise thw rescue cant rescue you!
Thanks for the feedback, let’s see where it brings me. For the foehn I’m sorry but I don’t remember the guys during the XAlps saying « don’t try this at home ». 😅But it’s like jumping of a bridge. The pros are doing it from 30m, noobies will probably not try even if it looks cool. People are most of the time conservative enough. Speed flying is also very dangerous, but I let them decide what they want to do with their lives 😊

I ignored many of my body’s warnings. Overstimulation of my wrist with subsequent SL rupture and osteoarthritis in the big toe joint at the age of 32 raised the same questions for me. Before, I was constantly switching between the next ski, mountain and climbing tour. So I decided to slow down and enjoy what I had experienced more than constantly looking for something new and prefer to prepare specifically for projects. And start a family. This will slow me down a bit from now on, but I'm looking forward to it 😊 Your contribution really supports me a lot in this process! Thanks!
Fantastic video!! The climbing was great but your words really resonate regarding risk. I love pushing myself in the mountains especially soloing but find myself having the same internal dialogue that you portray in this video. Thanks
