hi my name is Justin and We will be building a 1000 WHP k20 turbo civic coupe from ground up here at Streetstancecivic garage. Having fun and racing in the dirt !!! Hondas, ATV's, dirt bikes, Enduros, Racing, Hot challenges and more.
Dude! Thanks for this vid. I had a misfire on my MDX and that simple trick you showed of unplugging each coil pack was simple yet brilliant. I actually felt stupid after seeing that and had a "DUH" moment. Went outside and found it right off. Coil pack was it. Thanks again man!
There's 2 versions of this job - 1 is a ballache, 1 is fine. Ballache version is try not remove the entire front subframe first when doing the clutch. Work out what the fast, not a ballache version is yourself. Hint - there is a fast, not a ballache version. British RU-vidr Baz Meredith has the best "Not a ballache" video on how to do this. Watch that. It's just a clutch.
I don't know about you but I've built so many engines I just know when that bolt gets to be at just the right tension it needs to be at I only use torque wrench for reference. Get your change out of your pocket before you wash your clothes and put them in the dryer
Thanks for the video! I came here to learn to wire a 5 pin relay, but I am having trouble finding your pepper spray and taser video. Did this end up happening?
I need to know how to wire a right tail light on my 1946 Chevy truck. It came with only 1 tail Light How & where do I make the wire connection. Help please
Just hook a wire to the hot on the light you have and run it to the other side for the new light. Just ground off the new light where you can. If you need more help just ask. I also have videos on how to hook up running lights and turn signals if you need them.
I have a 2021 ram 2500. A buddy of mine put a piece of wire in the fuse box where prongs 85 and 86 go and now the ac blower stopped working. I have power in 87 and 30 but 86 doesn’t have power no more. I checked the relay and it is still good since the relay was not plugged in at the time. All fuses are good as well. What could have messed up in the fusebox?
To everybody out there who wonder why a 4 pin relay has 30 embossed on the side of the cover but 87a marked on the spade terminal. Have yet to see anyone address this dilema. 30 & 87a are the same!
Thanks for the reply. But your wrong. 4 pin relays don't have 87a. That is a 5 pin relay, and they are not the same one only has power when switched and the other it hot when you turn ignition on. So if you need something on from start and you hook to the wrong pin it will be off. you will have to manually turn it on via a switch.
on my opinion the second bolt should be torque to 35 to 40 pounds then finish the first bolt to specs also i was told if the bolt doesn't Strech enough on the first torque you loosing the bolt and retorque then you should have more Strech on the second retorque you can't just crank that bolt to 100 just to meet the stretching specs but that's just my opinion
Have to have them in the back for fire proofing. It will all be fire caulk. The rest is just cosmetic. My fuel tank is in the trunk. Thanks for watching.
They’re supposed to come out towards the camshaft side. The manual says to drive them to the combustion chamber side 2mm and then back up towards the camshaft side. I tried and it works just fine. Plus the tapered end in the combustion chamber side mushrooms but won’t score the inside because it’s quite a bit smaller than the bore. Good video otherwise
Working on my truck and realized I needed a relay. Did't know how to install till I found your video. Excellent demonstration and helped me solve a reacurring proplem I had so easily. Thanks
Your drawing should show both the red and blue coming from the same power source after the fuse and there should be a separate switch on the blue before the relay to just turn the lights on.
Thank you. I was about to try to start peeling off the heat shield. Your suggestion to just undo the exhaust manifold was much simpler. It was a bit fiddly but I managed to just drop it enough to keep the studs retaining the manifold, while still providing more space to access the thermostat bolts.
Hi I had a question. I have a b16 trans replaced 1-2 synchro (for carbon), 2nd gear, 1-2 shift gear and cup and now I’m having the problem of it not engaging the gear all the way. Hope you can help. Great content btw huge help with the rebuild
