Hi, I'm Mary and the one-person-show behind The Mary Jay! :) I started crocheting in college and fell in love with amigurumi and wanted to share this joy of creating stuffed animals with others.
After going viral on Tik Tok in 2020 for my LGBTQ+ pride plushies, I started a crochet shop. During this, I've found that many amigurumi patterns are time-consuming and therefore, unrealistic for the demands of a shop. So I began to create my own quick and simple patterns that I've used to make plushies for people all around the world.

I have one question for your axolotl pattern! Is the pattern ok to do with think yarn and not chunky yarn? I want to try out the pattern but I don’t have any fluffy yarn and I can’t go to yarn stores often (I am 12 and I am on my moms account) I love your videos 🩷 (Please only one person comment to respond and answer my question and only to answer my question, I am on my moms acc and I don’t want anyone to respond at night cuz it might wake her up)
I'm still planning to~ I have to redo the original videos I made though and haven't been able to because I cut my hand opening a box the day I was going to refilm it haha It's a small cut so hopefully I'll be able to film again this weekend!
