You should never play a song in a concert if you have to focus on it so hard i hate to say it im sure his future concerts sound way better and it sounds really good but im just saying you should be able to play your song like its second nature for concerts i couldnt play like him but just throwing that out there
They have gotten so much better now. They didn't use to play this song live cuz its difficult to play those harmonics live clearly. This one just rocks, better than the record... 🤘🤘🙌
There’s something magical about these notes & the music video. The song encapsulates the nightmare that we are walking in with nothing but instrumentals; it’s wild.
3:42 MY RIGHT EAR HEADSET IS BROKEN AND YOU CAN ONLY HEAR THIS ON LEFT EAR , IS THIS SCOTTS RIFF OR IMPROVISED RIFF PLAYED DURING THEIR LIVE, ITS JUST SO GOOD, I REALLY LOVE POLYPHIA.... <3
@@maximus7352 That section is made of the same chords/variations but arpeggiated with big interval jumps, it's brilliant. However, you can clearly see Tim stop at certain points while playing it and start again and at certain points just play 1 or 2 notes on one string while trying to recover. Not knocking the playing because that riff is actually nuts. I get what you are saying though and you are right in terms of the arrangement. It is a variation of that earlier section and how it was tracked in the studio. I thought you were saying how they performed it live was improv or something when it was just some minor screw-ups due to how difficult that section is to play let alone perform.
@@benseraphin yeah to even pull this off by the skin of your teeth live is impressive. This is a masterpiece of a song. No wonder it took four years to make.
