@@pancakepiano7892 They have grown a lot since those drunk/high tours and now they seem to took their shows more seriosly than before. I bet they are mostly sober with a little fun here and there, but I can't really tell, I'm just judging by their cleaner performance.
Their live sound, at least at the show i was at in Atlanta, was pristine. Loud enough but not deafening. Lots of bass, but you could still hear the guitars. I was amazed that the acoustic guitars didn't feedback even a little. On top of it all, the light show was so perfectly timed with the music. One of the best shows I"ve seen in quite a while

@@maximus7352 That section is made of the same chords/variations but arpeggiated with big interval jumps, it's brilliant. However, you can clearly see Tim stop at certain points while playing it and start again and at certain points just play 1 or 2 notes on one string while trying to recover. Not knocking the playing because that riff is actually nuts. I get what you are saying though and you are right in terms of the arrangement. It is a variation of that earlier section and how it was tracked in the studio. I thought you were saying how they performed it live was improv or something when it was just some minor screw-ups due to how difficult that section is to play let alone perform.

Seriously rehearsals are my favorite because it's live and raw without the needless praise, give these mfs love and appreciation after the each song or after the set is done, these songs aren't same riff limp bizquik tracks let em play, the covid lock down made mfs nutass fan boy weirdos

Sounds like you know jack shit nothing about the band. They literally ask for a hype crowd, a mosh pit, crowd surfing, and a wall of death at every show they do. If you don't like it then don't see them live.
The merch line in Atlanta was so long, it lasted through most of the show and people were still buying stuff well after the show ended. They must make a killing on merch sales
You should never play a song in a concert if you have to focus on it so hard i hate to say it im sure his future concerts sound way better and it sounds really good but im just saying you should be able to play your song like its second nature for concerts i couldnt play like him but just throwing that out there
