“Lots of people” enjoy the sound of a straight piped Chevy pickup, that doesn’t mean it sounds good. Chalk me up as someone who thinks it sounds too harsh.
@@Thefloorsspeakyiddish if you show me 2 to 6 HP gain with an aftermarket intake, I wouldn't even spend one penny on that power gain. It is too small of a gain to matter. If you like the sound, that's fine. Advertise it as a noise maker. Factory intakes with a MAF are limited to the factory diameter piping at the sensor. If you are getting any power gains, those are from using an air filter that flows more (i.e. has larger pores) to let more air in
