WELCOME to my "other" channel.. While my "other" channel is more "my professional personal productions," this channel will feature more "music videos" of my making of my favorite songs.. And little bits & pieces hur & thur. 😋
Is this some kinda Mandela effect moment? This song is not from Patch Adams, not sung by Rod Stuart. It is Faith of the Heart later re-released as Where My Heart Will Take Me by Russell Watson first released as the theme from Star Trek - Enterprise. Or am I the only one who remembers it this way.

Rod Stewart recorded the original version of the song for the 1998 film Patch Adams. It peaked at #3 on Billboard’s US Adult Contemporary chart. Russell Watson did a cover version in 2001 for Enterprise.
It sounded like him, and I was confused. But I was just "influenced by." Or maybe I was just wrong in "hearing" Rod in it. Seeing this is a revelation! I saw Patch Adams, but not in the theater, so maybe I just missed it. But gosh, I rewatched ALL of Robin Williams's movies when he passed. How did I miss it? I don't know.
No, Patch Adams did. The song was Oscar nominated and peaked at #3 on the Billboard US Adult Contemporary chart and was #20 on the 1999 year end AC chart. It was a hit single years before Star Trek Enterprise premiered on UPN. Not that many people watched ENT which is one of the reasons that it was cancelled after just four seasons.

@@RhmiltHadey Rod Stewart’s original version of the song was not used as the theme song of Star Trek Enterprise. Instead, the show’s creators had Russell Watson do a cover version.
