Rob sing a beautiful song, but the pictures of Robin Williams and his camera and his love for people touch me I think he was one of the best comedians we've had today God bless you sir and I hope that you rest in peace our loss is Heaven's gain
@@anuapetruta3144 Wrong. It was sung originally by Rod Stewart in 1998 for the Patch Adams soundtrack. Russell Watson did a cover version in 2001 for Star Trek Enterprise.
@@RhmiltHadey Rod Stewart’s original version of the song was not used as the theme song of Star Trek Enterprise. Instead, the show’s creators had Russell Watson do a cover version.
I adore this song . Listening to a master like Rod singing it, wow, it's been decades sing I've heard something him sing, his voice is still so bloody good 💞
@@Romulux229 I suggest you go and watch the entire series, a couple more times. Most people that make it past the first series and I’ve already made their mind up by that point. If you still don’t like it after that point, why don’t we meet up and I’ll attempt a Vulcan mind meld are you.
Awesome awesome awesome !!! Nobody sings like this heart Nobody sounds like Sir Rod Stewart If this isn’t the Enterprise theme song with maybe a little Russell thrown in Listen to Russell’s other songs lol does he ever sound like SRS. They did a little mixing with the final product but I hear Rod On my Enterprise dvds and my stereo surround and pitch perfect ears know Rod Stewart when I hear him! Only been listening to him for fifty Years and I don’t wear hearing aids He did this as a freebie for Paramount and Russell Can’t prove it but so glad they did it! Loved Robin Wms in this movie He will always live on in the hearts He touched and the joy and laughter He gave. RIP Sir Robin Williams!!!
It sounded like him, and I was confused. But I was just "influenced by." Or maybe I was just wrong in "hearing" Rod in it. Seeing this is a revelation! I saw Patch Adams, but not in the theater, so maybe I just missed it. But gosh, I rewatched ALL of Robin Williams's movies when he passed. How did I miss it? I don't know.
Is this some kinda Mandela effect moment? This song is not from Patch Adams, not sung by Rod Stuart. It is Faith of the Heart later re-released as Where My Heart Will Take Me by Russell Watson first released as the theme from Star Trek - Enterprise. Or am I the only one who remembers it this way.
No, Patch Adams did. The song was Oscar nominated and peaked at #3 on the Billboard US Adult Contemporary chart and was #20 on the 1999 year end AC chart. It was a hit single years before Star Trek Enterprise premiered on UPN. Not that many people watched ENT which is one of the reasons that it was cancelled after just four seasons.
