So he signed up for a military school to play football. Then as soon as CK started talking a knee MT did also. His backing of BLM & so on drove people away from even slightly liking him
Drew Brees made him the best wr. Drew made alot of no names look good. Just ask Marquese Colston. Also Thomas is too injury prone and a cry baby drama queen diva
Sounds like a genius and you'd think that would translate to his field awareness and processing of what he sees! But it doesn't. And, site needs an update...Anyway, I don't quite get why he's so 40% of a quality QB at best. Yet, he's never at a consistent level so that his team can put together more than a few games at a time as a pro QB! From there(after a few wins), he tends to crash and burn! This flaw kinda showed itself in college, too! Still, he doesn't need football at all and I wish him nothing but the best in his hobby and his life post football!
Michael Thomas was an absolute elite pairing with Brees. Brees was a model of consistency when it came to accuracy and decision-making. Thomas wasn't going to burn anybody. However, his route running, big body, wingspan, and baseball mitt hands were perfect for a QB like Brees or even Bridgewater who was also consistent in accuracy, avoiding forced misplaced balls while being a surgeon in short-intermediate throws. Thomas got spoiled, big-headed, and his antics turned him into a diva. That aside, he was still a great WR but the ankle and knee injuries were to much for a elite possession guy who requires separation. Those injuries took away that 1 extra step he had and he couldn't just box out guys every play. He was good at it but that's too much physicality for someone injury prone in their later years.
M. Thomas was good when good when he had Drew throwing at him but after he retired M. Thomas sustain injuries which has slowed him down, his production has dropped mostly because of injuries.
Goes to show all that combine stuff is bullshit..if you really know football you should know how to scout good players and this is proof they don’t know what they’re doing
He never was the fastest on the field, but he was always the toughest. That’s what I liked about him because after contact he was a dog I believe if he’s the right system, he can make some noise. I would honestly like to see him go to Minnesota.
