You have to appreciate the dedication of a restorer who starts with a tank that guzzles gas like its being paid for by a nation-state and THEN adds sand bags to make it get worse gas mileage.
It's good to know that you're preserving lesser-known vehicles like these. Is that the same 'rubber band' style track from US WW2 halftracks? It looks like the suspension is a bit different.
Mick I have a friend with three of these tractors, he needs a carburetor if you know about one? PS: he also has an LVT and four Guiberson engines. The plan is to put a Guiberson into the LVT. I like the idea of the 6BT engine in the Cleatrac. Cheers Mike
That one sticky piston is the only problem with that old engine, we are hoping it will free up a bit more after a few more weeks of lubrication and turning in now and again, we will see.
Damn dude, go buy a bloody gimbal for your camera. There is 1 thing worse than a "Potato Camera Video" and that's "Shaky Hand Video". Someone complained about my old videos just like what I'm doing, so I went out and bought a gimbal....
Is there a fully restored M32 to original working condition? I'd love to see at in action with the crane setup and lifting a turret off of a Sherman that's being rebuilt.
Mick, I love Odd Balls encampment, Sherman Drifting, and the bulldozer making a pile of dirt. When the event ended, did the dirt pile have to be leveled out? You guys have so much fun, it makes me jealous!!!😢 Thanks for sharing your fun.
@@paulwee1924dus To be honest I was sort of dragged there by my other half, he likes tanks and war things, I don't mind tanks, indifferent really, I'd prefer motorcycles or skateboarding though tbh.
Mick, are you going to completely rebuild the M3, or is someone going to buy it and take care of the rebuild? Either way, it's looking great with tracks on it again.
Meanwhile, the Russian tanks that were taken out of the swamp: We are ready to fight again!! After clearing the Тank inside of the swamp mud, you can sit down and press the brake to direct the Tank to the trailer. I saw it on the video. Which was amazing 😲
That Russian tanks you watched had not been worked all its life on an Australian farm, I have worked on a lot of Russian tanks, they are crap, sharp edges, bad castings, burn more oil than fuel when you can get them running..
Its a pretty manky old tank, but now it looks more like a tank!😅 Well done I say, more farm scrap sort of saved!👍🇦🇺 Just one question, how can you guys still have all your fingers!😂🤣
How long is a bit of string? Not sure, all depends on what parts we can find and how far we take it, i might be a runner or it might be a static, we have found a transmission and the twin engines, they will be on there way to us soon.
Bet them beers never tasted so good if it eas Wednesday or Thursday you were doing them tracks, it was the same for me as I was dismantling a combine harvester for packing into a container for export.
