Running 3x toughness replenishment with loner is actually quite interesting, I've only been playing with loner to grind the penance so I've never though of that. Fun build, stood in barrel fire at the beginning of the match, regened some health a couple of times with revenant and still had least damage taken. Miss heavy attacks all the time with the rashad though, not used it much since the brutal momentum nerf. Might try an agile tac axe for infinite dodge spam with this.
One day, I'll manage to farm out some curios for my characters but I have no luck with top-end (21% health, 17% Toughness) for the most part. What's the power sword skin you're using? It looks colossal.....
Yeah you have to camp brunt shop to get them. It sucks. You can use the web browser to check the brunt shop, then if he sells high level curios then just log in to buy it. The power sword is from weapon customisation mod.

Great build but, I'm curious about Empyric shock. Throwing even just 2 balls at an elite buffs the secondary attack by 12% on the target. Don't you thing it could be used ?
It'd be useful for left click build but this is right click. You're really tight on points and won't be able to afford it. Right click also kill all elites barring ogryns so it's just more efficient to right click spam and stun them.
@@AgentChaosMeme Yeah I see your point. The last update did bring a lot of good skill nodes but 30 points is barely enough now haha. But I'll try it tonight ! I've been using flame staff + empowered smite a lot lately.
what build did you run with this? i didnt see you show it so im curious. also yes im tired of left click spam psykers i do not think the build is good i dont know what people keep forcing it
You can have your own opinion of how fun a build is but there's no real way to argue that the left click surge build is not objectively good. It is. The main problem is that it's boring because of just how good it is, it trivialises almost every encounter by just pressing left click, and the right click is there for bulwarks.
I tried playing psyker without a stamina curio and it felt really weird to me but then again I went a long time playing with one. I liked having more health but stamina curio helps alot when a chaos spawn is around you cant really go anywhere which happens sometimes. Obviously just a skill issue and preference but i like having those extra stamina bars.
wp bro and yes this build is better than the left click build. I really love to play with psykers together and feed them kills while supporting them with golden touchness.

Ilisi surge is the way and idk why so many psykers choose to play smite over bb when you can just horde clear with illisi and have bb for bosses and stray elites and specialists. I cannot stand when smite psykers start smiting the moment a horde appears like dude just run an illisi problem solved and you wont have a giant hole in your build with no boss dps.
Eh... The surge staff does great dps rn even against bosses, and given how much you can spam it, it 100% out dps the bb, anyways just let people play how they want to play, worry about yourself
@@explorer9692 since when does a surge staff out dps brain burst and especially with kinetic resonance? Also why are you talking about a surge staff as if its changed? The surge staff has been good for months and months and months now. Also if you think I havent seen smite psykers who just dont have any bosss dps who do not focus bosses when they spawn in you would be kidding yourself. Its not about the fact that you CAN do boss dps with the surge staff, its about the fact that many smite psykers DONT do any boss dps and just rely on their teammates to do all the work and then you have a nurgle or a chaos spawn running around for 12 years on the map when that psyker could be standing in a corner brain bursting a boss thats not aggroed on them. Also my opinion is my opinion and i dont really care what anyone thinks about it thats why its an opinion. I said what I said because most smite psykers lack boss dps and ive played enough matches with them to know that to be true, as opposed to the surge psykers who play with bb so they can do boss dps. Im not arguing with you obviously people can play however they want and i dont need you telling me i should let people be like Im some 5 year old and your my boss lol.
Yeah the start and mid event on this map is brutal. After that it sort of settles down a bit. But at the start if there are monsters spawn there's a high chance of flying to the void. :D
@@AgentChaosMeme most of the time you just dont have the horde clear or the team comp to deal with all the specialists and elites in the mid event. I think the rooms designed horribly but I do like the map. Just not any cover anywhere which to me is an odd way to inflate difficulty.
Lovely gameplay as always, for I'm struggling a bit to understand the rational behind the build. Considering the +90% Toughness Regen, wouldn't you wanna take the 2nd Shroudfield Perk as well? And wouldn't you wanna take CDR on Crit and backstab kill too? In my own experimentation being able to spam Shroudfield seems to be vastly superior compared to picking up a couple mid tree talents.
I also am confused why you'd take loner over benediction if you are spending the points to get up to it anyway. As well as the stungrenade over the throwing knives
@@caecaira437 The toughness regen is to synergy with loner. I only use stealth for big boost of damage, pickup/rescue, objectives, and reposition to take out specials. Combat axe is not a crit weapon so it doesn't benefit too much from spamming stealth. The reason for stun nade is because I have to path down the left for bleed for the emperor. It makes being even on 2 wounds worth of hp very tanky. I hope that explains it.
If I see one more purgatus shield smite psyker with no boss dps or bb im gonna lose my mind. How tf are these bozos in auric maelstrom missions and they dont understand it doesnt make sense to smite a horde when you have a purgatus staff. Total complete lack of knowledge regarding the class. Like please go back to malice or something idk man. Earlier we played with a vet who had kraks a devil claw and an autogun in a melee only game and we kept roasting him for a devil claw sword in a scab only and he kept dying it was so hilarious. The noobs are everywhere we cant escape them. New rule is you have to have 100 games with a class played to touch the auric board😂
Which addon are you using to track the 10s lingering effect from Scrier's Gaze? And secondly, what's your PC specs? Your game looks really smooth, whereas my FPS is all over the place and I've got a 4090 with a 5950x... I guess that's more of a Darktide issue.
@dostz661 mod is called warp unbound timer. My pc is broken atm so I am on my laptop. It has mobile 4080 and 14900hx. I think it's just frame gen making it look smooth. Dt is certainly not super optimised as well. My pc had 4090 and I also had fps dip during big horde
@@TulkasMight Rarely but yes. When a bunch of elites suddenly drop out of no where it comes in very handy. But you'll stay on surge staff probably 80% of the time.
