I attended one of these yesterday. Honestly, BG resorts aren’t even that nice. I told them I don’t like their product so it doesn’t matter what deal they offered me. Still they persisted. I said, “guys, you’re very nice but you’re trying to sell a steak to a vegetarian. I don’t like your product.” That was that. Took my $300 voucher and left.

So we just got back from one of these over the weekend. We went into it not even thinking anything about it, because we had no intentions of buying anything and we knew we'd just say no. We figured, hey, a super cheap vacation for just 2 hours of our time? Sure why not! Something I think people need to realize is these are professional con artists. They know how to pull at your heart and manipulate you into thinking this is a fantastic deal.... which is what they did to us. We were expecting a pushy sales person saying "you NEED to do this"- but we didn't get that. What we got was a very charismatic guy who was super friendly and chatty and never pushed but in hindsight, looking at it with clearer vision, they were definitely manipulating us with how they spoke. "Oh we'd love to get your family more time together- we can work on a deal that would work best for your family and wont have you going broke-" blah blah blah. They also told us it would be super easy to get out of at any time we wanted. We can either sell it, gift it back to them (this would "stop our payments immediately") or gift it to charity and they would buy it back and give money to the charity. They told us all this- but I realized afterwards this was not in writing anywhere. They offered us the 20k points for about $95,000 and we just flat out said no we can't afford that. So then they offered us the $15,000 offer for 5k points. They worded it absolutely brilliant and we, who went in 100% knowing we didn't want to do this... signed up for it. I thought I'd add some things we learned from actually signing up in case it helps others. After we bought, they rewarded us with "gifts." The first gift was ANOTHER 3 day stay at the resort for free- to go over an orientation on how to use points. (I found out from another video that they do this to try and sell more things.) They gave us an extra 5,000 points for the first year, and an extra 4,000 points for the second year. Just to give us an idea "if we'd want more points." The third gift was a "Free 1 week stay RCI"- which is literally anywhere in the world, any size suite we'd want. We left from there feeling so incredibly stoked and happy about getting this for our family. But that night I started to feel a bit uneasy, and the next morning I still felt uneasy. So I started doing actual research on it. Bluegreen Vacations has 1 of 5 stars on every page we can find. On Ebay and other resale pages for timeshares, we found people selling it for dirt cheap. The one person was selling 63,000 points, for $200. The extra kicker on this- they were paying the $800 transfer fee to whoever bought it. So they were willing to spend hundreds of money, just to get rid of their timeshare from Bluegreens. This was such a huge red flag for me, that I started to panic. Something we ended up finding out after reading the contract, something THEY DONT TELL YOU, is they legally have a rescinding period in the contract. For us it was 9 days. Even if you sign the paperwork, you have a period where you can cancel it. We followed these instructions to a tee and even paid a lawyer to help us make sure we did it 100%, notarized it, and helped us get it in a certified letter to send to them. Fingers crossed we will get out of this without much pushback, but in case anyone is reading this in panic because they bought one- please look at your contract and see if you are in the rescinding period! Every state is different, but here it was a 9 day rescinding period.

I bought the sound skins kit a while ago. I got most of the trunk trim out but then decided to abort because it took forever for me to figure out how to unclip various small electrical cables 🤣🤣. I also found a place to do the install but I didn’t want to risk adding new interior noises due to improperly replacing the trim pieces. I also messed up one trim piece near the rear passenger seat that I need to fix. Thanks for your review. I suspect the. 2025 model y will be a lot quieter just like the 2024 model 3 , it was like being in a crypt.

Cam kit, valve springs, Camaro intake, torque converter, and a custom tune. That will allow all your other mods shine also. You may not like a supercharger cause all the power is right there with the rpm. It is hard to manage. If you want a power added go with a turbo. So much easier to adjust the boost you are needing at that given time.

Thanks buddy . I lived in las Vegas i moved to Pahrump nevada. Thank you for your video. I plan on changing my fan clutch to efans. This video is going to be a life saver. I have a 2000 chevy tahoe that I've done tons of things to. This will be just another add on item i look forward to. I am going to be doing a ac compresor repair. And these efans will help with keeping everything happy and running cold. I already have a good alternator mechman 240 amp and an xs power d3400 battery big 4. More like big 6. So I'm good there. Thanks again buddy. Maybe if i run into a snag I'll be reaching out to you.

I need to visit Pahrump. I heard there's a good spot to have some wine. The 240A and big 6 will be plenty I'm sure. Just noticed today that after upgrading to the 145A alternator, my oil pressure gauge is completely stable (it was kinda glitchy before) and my stock radio sound 10 times better... actually sounds half decent. I must have been way low on power with that 105A alternator. What's your plan for tuning the efans? Definitely reach out anytime. Glad to share info. facebook.com/profile.php?id=100068850114233

@@willzbillzfam yea LOL I ended up buying a 240 amp alternator from rockauto that was in the section for 2002 tahoe 5.3, it works all well and gets me to 14.3 volts with all led lights on and efans on high, but it is a little loud LOL. I definitely might try to buy HP Tuners myself to learn, I've always wanted to learn so it might be a good thing for me to maybe buy it some time soon and learn thru RU-vid. I get what you mean by it being so much more convenient but there is always going to be tuning help online no matter what. My personal tuner lives about 45 minutes away so it sucks making that drive. Also if the tuner you took it to tuned ur truck and didn't want to give screenshots, I really think you could've made a lot more power maybe like an extra 25 percent with all the bolt ons you have, I suggest you try to always have a second tuner to see what they think/can improve on the truck, but for sure get a 40k tru cool transmission cooler because the 4l60 is known to be a little less reliable with a lot more power/ stock trans cooler.

I went to a Wyndham timeshare presentation in Sevierville, TN with my parents back in 2014 and their first offer was $92K for the "elite" VIP package with $275 per month in maintenance fees and they detained us there for not 90 minutes but four hours. My parents said they would go through that presentation again just to say "no, no, and no" and get their free show tickets and I thought they were nuts. I told them next time we come to Pigeon Forge, they can go but count me out. I will be more than willing to pay the $120 for three show tickets than go through that again. That was ten years ago. Currently Wyndham is no longer in business in Sevierville and their former property was sold to another company (Wilderness at the Smokies) that isn't a timeshare. My sister's family uses that former Wyndham property each summer and says all the amenities are still there for a much cheaper price than what Wyndham would offer.

Getting out of a timeshare is IMPOSSIBLE. Timeshare exit companies are equally a SCAM. Don’t do it!! Most of these timeshares pass down to your dependents or relatives if you pass away. And they will have to hire an attorney to get out of it as well. This is absolutely 100% a trap. Pro Tips: The secret to taking advantage of the cheap resort stays without spending anything on a timeshare or membership is to show up in clothes that look worn, stains and homes are better, flip flops or crocs, no jewelry of any kind, including watches. Don’t pull out your iPhone. It’s better to take a little prepaid phone from Walmart or wherever. Tell them you work graveyard shift at a convenience store and your partner has a similar low-wage job. Together you make about $55 to $70 per year combined. You have a lot of debt and bills. Your ultimate response should always be “We can’t afford it” or “we don’t have the money!” Set a timer and make sure you leave as soon as that timer goes off. And don’t feel bad about it because these people are literally taking advantage of you by trying to hold you hostage over the 90 minutes to 2 hours you agreed to. If not, you’ll be trapped for 4 or 5 hours. 19:31 NEVER LEAVE WITH THESE PEOPLE! NEVER EVER! Take your own vehicle if they want to take you on a tour! When we signed up, we got a guarantee that we would not be made to get on a bus, van, or any means of transportation to take us elsewhere. If you go, you’re stuck! They aren’t going to give you 2 minutes alone so you can call an Uber either. So don’t let it happen! NEVER do anything that you didn’t already agree to when signing up. Most importantly, put your foot down. Don’t worry about looking nice. If you don’t buy, they are going to be angry for wasting their time. The longer you let them go on and on, the more upset they are going to be. So get out of it asap to save your own sanity and to avoid being verbally attacked and guilt tripped by them. Finally. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM A TIMESHARE OR A VACATION COMPANY! NEVER PAY A TIMESHARE EXIT COMPANY.

I was about to do this same brilliant idea I had to my MYLR lol. So I had a new thought about wheel/tire areas that I have not fully looked at yet but what about spray foam in certain gaps and in the wheel liner areas as it seems to me that is where most of the noise originates from. Foam reduces the noise the best and I noticed my previous Lexus truck was exactly that, foam inserts in a lot of the paneling gaps and wheel and fender areas once I opened them up. Nothing we can do about more acoustic glass but my Lexus was extremely quiet. Figured they must know a little something with all that foam and noticeable extra carpeting and padding. Just thought I might throw that your way since you are now a pro at removing everything in the Tesla. The only purpose is to warm up the throttle so when it is really cold like freezing cold, the throttle body doesn't get stuck bc of the coldness, but if you live anywhere where it is always about 20 degrees all around weather, you should be fine. It also improves throttle response since hot ass coolant wont be going thru the throttle.

Soon I will get it on the dyno to see if maybe we're identical! but for how heavy this Tahoe and how old mine is, it pulls really hard on the 30 rolls, just gets up and really goes, especially since mine is tuned to shift at about 5800 RPM.

Would love to know what you get from the dyno. Mine is tuned in 92 but I don't have the servo or tru cool. What benefits have you noticed from those two mods? I am very tempted to get HP Tuners myself so I can dive into that whole world. I see a lot of benefits but also a huge amount to learn. Not sure I'm ready for that. For now, I have a Circle D torque converter on the way with a 22-2400 stall. I'm told it'll still have a mostly stock feel for driving around town but will give me a nice performance boost off the line.

@@willzbillzfam the servo is a huge change it shifts a lot faster and not as firm as people say, if you're cruising you don't even feel the bump until you go wide open throttle on the 1-2 shift. transmission cooler is a MUST for performance, got mine off ebay for $130 and I do not go past 160 on the trans temps which is awesome because on the stock small trans cooler I would be at about 190 to 195F if I was in the highway, and that was when it was about 80 degrees outside so it definitely helps! how is your torque converter experience?? I've been thinking about getting a 2400 to maybe 2600 but I really want it to feel like stock until I step on it so I'm not high rpms all the time and waste more gas. that's really the only thing slowing me on digs, it starts of so slow until about 2500 rpm then it really starts to pick up, so I might get the same one as yours if you really like it! max I think I'd go is 2800 because I don't wanna go too high either.

Taking nothing away from you, video production, edit, everything! A+++ subbed. I just have to add, it's an old truck that made 285 CRANK new, basically stock+ no real power adders in the broadest idea of real world- what in the world did you expect? The "disgeartening" cannot be even close to real. You appear way to clever, have talked to too many companies, have done enough research to speak clearly and plainly about certain things. You 100% HAD to be aware that was a realistic end goal number where you stand. I don't buy it. NOW, that being said ; for funny haha (especially the Carrey which I giggled at myself!) 😂 and "production ", lead in for future and heck- you get it- well...I get it. But C'MONNN lol like I said; subbed. So it works? Or I just continue to prove my own idiocy by chasing flashes if light.. either one us a win for you I reckon lol. Good luck! Once I finish my 6.0 , I've got a 6.2 with plans, think I may take a lighthearted approach similarly. Have fun, be safe, ttyl bud! And like my truck windows say- I Hope something good happens to you today 🙏

6.2 swap is the dream for me. Do you have any concerns with direct injection?

Proven fact- even at much higher hp numbers the "hot air" isn't hurting you in the SLIGHTEST. I suggest you read up, or nowadays just watch some horsepower, engine masters , Richard Holdener,or really any reputable engine builders videos for the info -On Granitelli- they've been around forever, have a great support system and great products. The Dorman (as much as I hate their lack of QC) has again been PROVEN to damn near match most ls3 stuff/ again; watch some Richard Holdener. The rest is 100% personal preference in my opinion . Headers of course have plenty of proven numbers with different cams, soringsets, fueling, abd every other combo under the sun. Mufflers- same but damn near equal with mild mods like you/ sound choice. E fans and Rad - your best bet is the forums, shops want to sell their products, their sponsors, etc. Good luck!

Good stuff. Ya, I always thought cold air is more dense and therefore packs a bigger punch when it burns up. Goes to show how good the marketing is for some of these products that do zero for you with performance.

Anyone who says they've made a timeshare work for them is either bad at math or an idiot.

If you had picked your mods with your money better you would have actually gained power instead of loosing it

Can you be more specific? Are you saying spend the money on heads and a cam instead? Or what?
@philliplukas9447

@willzbillzfam you spent about 6000$ (including all the money you wasted on the intake). You could have just got a cam long tube headers and tune and made 70hp more than what you did and spent alot less and if your gonna spend 600 dollars on a factory intake you could have gotten a tbss style intake for the same price and made more power the map sensor was a waste of money the cold air intake was a waste of money the ignition components were a waste of money and the ported throttle body all because of one thing your engine isn't making enough power to gain anything from these mods but if you put a hotter cam in it you might have actually gained power not just from the cam but from all your other mods as well because they work together your stock intake and throttle body weren't restricting air close to how much your factory cam is

I have an 04 4.8 and I put the tsp chopacobra in it along with that I did long tubes will a full exhaust cold air intake and injectors and it made 310 to the tire. I did all the work myself and then had a shop tune it and I think I had right around 2500 into the setup. Stock converter and the truck drives amazing and moves pretty good

I wondered if injectors would do anything for me. I'd be nervous about losing even more gas mileage. I get just under 15 mpg and am on the highway 90% of the time.
