As an FSU fan, watching these highlights is tough. A few plays made or not made by Clemson and it's a different story. That 2016 team beat NC State on the road the next week and finished 10-3 with an Orange Bowl win over Michigan. It would be the last good FSU squad until 2022 and Jimbo's last season before the roof caved in in 2017-19.
I loved that game, darnold got his a$$ beat and thought later in the NFL draft he would be the number one pick of the Browns ( my team). Which he wasn't ha ha hahaha.he went way late in it and never did good to this day in the NFL.
Bittersweet to watch...the talent across the board on offense then was amazing...what happened since?!?...this offense with this year's defense...wow...oh well.
Came back to remember the good times when Louisville was actually good at basketball what I wouldn’t give to have a team like this with a coach like that again
I would of bet my house that Lou wouldn't beat Kentucky that year, just shows you how bad the home cooking is in college basketball anymore.. It's terrible
I forgot two guys are allowed to have the same jersey number in college football, as a matter of fact maybe even three guys, one on defense, one on offense and the third guy on special teams.
I said after this game we'd meet Kentucky again and beat them . I knew with Theo Pinson guarding Monk it would be a different game. The 2 best teams that year gave us 2 classic games.
I forgot how many big NFL names were in this game in addition to the two quarterbacks; Ja’mar Chase, Edwards-Helaire, Jalen Waddle, Justin Jefferson, Jerry Jeudy, DeVonta Smith, Najee Harris… so many guys who are having great NFL careers.
Jefferson, Chase, Helaire, Devonta smith, Burrow, Waddle, Tua, Jeudy, Najee, Trevon Diggs, Surtain II. SOOO many prominate NFL players on these two teams. Wild how much talent there was.
