WONDERFUL video--- wish i was there! What time of year was this-- October or November? It looks like cool weather, perfect for walking outdoors. Ahhhh the smells...
my father's parents are from this area. I plan to visit the Pordenone and Udine areas next summer. I have this feeling that I will not want to leave. Does anyone know the village of Domanines? that would be ground zero for me.
Hi. I haven’t about that town. Is it close to Pordenone? There are lots of small towns nearby. Provis Domani, Barco I lived in this region many years ago and I return often. My landlord and his wife considered me family. Wonderful people. They passed away, sadly but I still have lovely friends there. I know you will enjoy yourself. Udine is marvelous. They are all beautiful town. Valdobbiodene, wine country, and Vittorio Veneto are fabulous historical towns. ENJOY!!

@@josemariabravin7692 😊 I do not speak Spanish but I understand everything you said. I hope you can go to this wonderful part of Italy. I know many Italians who immigrated to Argentina after WW2. How interesting the world is? I send you good future and a happy future. ❤️❤️
Polcenigo has an old hotel in the square. When I lived there, Nino Zaia was the owner. A lovey man. This hotel was Napoleon Bonaparte’s headquarters when he came through Italy. He brought white grapes into the region making it famous for their wonderful Prosecco wine. Bonaparte attempted to conquer the Friuli region but he got his butt kicked at a battle in Sacile, a nearby town. 😁. the history of Polcenigo is fascinating. Across the street from Polcenigo is the quiet beautiful village of Gorgazzo. Here you will learn the mysteries of the deepest under water cave in the world. Stare into the lagoon long enough and you will see the statue of Jesus implanted in the rocks. How it got there is a fascinating story.
@@mcognito happy you like it. I there this fall. It’s my happy place. I hope you can experience this beautiful paradise one day. The town center is now quite lively with people. The locals are so much fun. You’ll enjoy it immensely. ❤️
