@@covepanda6051 i did it both times, i asked and confirmed before buying the guitar that they could do the changes. then after i bought the guitar, i received an order number, which i then emailed the support staff email for 10s. i told them my order number and my requests for them to change and they did it. hopefully this makes sense. lmk if u need additional help.
@@riximus contrary to popular belief, they both do the same thing - dump the single to ground. Which in turn, kills the signal. Making them both killswitches that both only just kill the signal of the guitar at the tap of the button.
It might be a situational thing, where you can use the bottom killswitch for entire riffs, or use the top one to quickly kill some notes but then jump back down to the strings without missing any notes. But i havent tried one of these yet so not sure
I am about to buy one and I just wanted to ask you whether I have to ask specifically about - White backplates - Red tip on the pickup selector - 24 fret baritone 27inch scale neck - Chrome, Grover tuning pegs instead of black, given the fact that the listing of the guitar on their page has exactly the same specs as the one you got,( except the red tip on the pickup selector), after specifically asking for those.
@@hoodiumm not an option on the site, you have to email them directly about your order and specifications. Their email is listed in their support/contact page
Man, I got mine a year ago and I love it, but mine only has 22 frets. Not a big deal since I never use 23&24. Mine did, however, had no output from bridge pickup. Found a wire that wasn't soldered and took care of it myself. Wish I thought to request the white covers and chrome tuners like you did. Does yours have a super chunky neck? Mine is like a baseball bat.
I have the left handed version of this guitar. As its a lefty, mine has 24 frets like the Gibson Bucketheads becthere isn't a copyyright infringement. I upgraded the pickups to white SD Distortions which are very close specs wise to the Gibson 496R/500T set. I LOVE these guitars. They sound incredible and are so light and resonant. Great demo
@azizlewis the stock pickups are good but you cant beat the Gibson pickups or Seymour Duncans as an alternative. I strung mine with 9 gauge strings and tuned it to E flat like Big B. With it being a regular sized body I noticed there is slight neck dive but I cured it with a Stretch Strap which balances the weight better. The body is thicker than a regular les paul. Also the Sanwa kill switches are correct, its the same ones Gibson used. I tweaked the wiring so its like the original gibson model. For the money, its an incredible guitar. What settings are you using on the Growler effect?
Is the body oversized like bucketheads ? If you didn’t know (probably do) , the Gibson Buckethead body is about an inch longer in addition the extended scale length
Unfortunately as i mentioned in the video, 10s clone of buckethead’s guitar is by default not oversized on the body of the guitar like the original gibson signature. However you can put in a custom order to oversize the body and get all the specs the same as the original sig but according to the emails i’ve gotten, it’s run me $1200 instead of the retail price
very smooth, i ordered the guitar straight from their website then listed the requirements i wanted i listed in the description. Let me know if u have any questions, i’m happy to help. I’ve been playing the guitar for about a month now and it’s given me no problems
They also sell on reverb. Price is different though. Probably to cover reverb fees, but you'll get piece of mind. I also got mine through their website.
You really know your stuff on guitars 🎸, including how to play them so well. I love Buckethead's unique sound, & it really amazes me at how readily you've mastered it. Obviously, you practice a lot. However, your musical talent has got to be a gift from some Higher Authority!
thanks man! It’s a 5 pickup fully selectable guitar with the possibility to have all the pickups on, off, and all other combination in between that. There is also the killswitch which has a blend know between the killed signal and dry signal
@@kane3812 well mine didn’t ship until 5 days after my order placement so i’m sure it was holiday or memorial day in play. Hope it comes to you soon and in good condition 🤘
Bro added his own flavor to a classic buckethead song. Im impressed at his improv and where he chose to mix it up. Its like how buckethead doesnt play exact studio versions live. Keep it up man, youre going places!
I was almost going to say this is the greatest cover of jordan ever, until he improvised the hardest part of the solo. But i dont think any guitarist can properly copy buckethead for that part. Still really great work though
