DUDE Your Plug In Baby tone is nearly spot on! I tried running my Big Muff into my Future Impact and it sounded like fried doodoo, I guess I needed to run my Boss OS2 instead.
Thanks! You also need the right patch. I have the Animato running into the Deep Impact and The big muff on another chain. If you drop you email ill gladly give the patch i have on the deep impact.
Hi! Pretty rad sounds! Do you think that with the future impact it could be possible to obtain the sound that chris has in madness? I know he uses total different gear in that song, but would like to sound as near as possible to that with pedals, and I I'm trying to understand what is better between the future impact and the source audio c4....
I’d say it’s definitely possible but with a lot of tweaking! the dynamics would be hard to tweak in order for the patch to sound right for madness. also c4 and future impact are both great pedals but i believe the future impact is a bit more advanced
Hey awesome demo! Two questions: 1) Are you playing a 5 string bass? 2) Are the settings you played 215, 225, etc, all preset with the pedal or did you customize them? Thanks!
Thanks! A) Its a 4 string custom bass guitar. I was using a P Bass pickup here. B) The presets go up to 99 FYI. So the 5 at the end of 215 is to control the parameters of the patch such as attack or decay. So the actual preset number is 21 and its part of the original deep impact sounds from 21-29. The presets 21 and 22 I used were factory that came with the pedal and are replicas as I said to the Deep Impact. Hope this helps clarify stuff. Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions.
@@Barron007b Good question. So Version 1 and version 3 are EXACT replicas when it comes to internal electronics. Now when it comes to what firmware your on will be the sound that comes out of the patches on the Future Impact. Im on the version 3.6 I believe in this video.
@@Barron007b the v3.5 factory sound bank differs from the original factory soundset, though some sounds are preset in both sets. For example, the Deep Impact sounds were patches 1-9 on v1. Later they were moved to 21-29. The original factory soundset can always be loaded back onto the pedal but I’d highly encourage users to explore the v3-3.60 sounds as there were excellent new features added on each update which yield far more interesting sounds than were originally available. Also, from v3.00 onwards, full ADSR envelopes were added, which finally made it possible to cop lots of classic Minimoog sounds.
@@azizlewis hi, i got a question for you. Does this type of big muff only produce the effects for the Muse songs along with future impact, or could i use other types.?
@@thordurkarason7904 Others should work fine! Chris (the bassist of Muse) uses the black russian big muff specifically which is why I own it. However, EHX has a russian big mff reissue pedal that is a much smaller footprint and is almost identical to the Black Russian Big Muff. I would go with that pedal unless you want the real thing.
Well you need a bass for one. Then you need some type of synth pedal so your bass can be processed through it and have it filled by distortion to give it that loud sound. I use the Future Impact here and the Human gear animato blended with a Big Muff on a different channel on the boss LS-2. Do some digging yourself and you’ll start to discover his tones and sound. Let me know if u need any more help. Also chris uses Marshal DSL amps i think during the origin album.
Hi Aziz, thanks for reply me! I've a Muse cover band and so I already have the Big Muff, the LS-2 and the ODB-3 that replace the Human gear animato (I think). My intention is to also buy the Future impact to have the better sound possible near to Chris. I've the Fender Stage 800 amp. It's a very versatile amp that simulates a lots other of amps. Could you tell me the links of pedals and if you have a patch to send me, please?
