Happy I found your page. I have a different issue though. My dot doesn't hear me almost daily recently. Net is connected but I am unplugging it daily when it stops responding. It might work for 12 hours but then again the same thing the next day. I also had Amazon reset it from their end twice.

The issue with mine is it has the green ring spinning but it also doesn’t let me factory reset it

when I plug alexa into an outlet it keeps spinning blue and green. If I move to another outlet it stops. Any reason Why?

My Alexa Echo Dot do not respond or light at all. I can play music from my phone (spotify) but that's it.

My Echo Dot 2 had almost no issues for years. I just recently upgraded to an Echo 4, and it feels like it gets stuck with the blue ring with one cyan spot slowly (and I mean slowly) rotating quite often. I was hoping this video might have a permanent fix, alas... Gotta reboot it when that happens.

What about the constantly cyan spinning ring? Is it ok to to unplug and then plug it back in?

WiFi connected. Echo Dot says "updating your device, I'll let you know when it's ready." Notjing happens, the orange circle stays on. Has been on for over 30 minutes. Suggestions?

I have 3 Alexas and getting same with all of them

No flashing red light or constant red light , only get red light when I speak to alexa then it goes out

My Alexa just keeps saying " Sorry I'm having trouble understanding right now please try later " and red light comes on when she's saying it then it goes out .

What about a blue ring with cyan that continually spins, does not stop, does respond to voice, does not respond to any button presses, does not respond to reset command or any commands, and continues the blue spin with cyan whether you unplug it for 60 seconds or 3 days. Nothing makes it come out of that loop. The This is what I have right now with my echo premium sound. Is the echo just a paperweight now?

Unfortunately, I have been struggling with this purple ring for 6 months That purple ring doesn't disappear anymore and I tried all the methods to reset and reconfigure it, I still have 6 different speakers and they all work and connect to the same speaker. I took them out one by one From the socket and the same without result.Thank you !!

I just connected mine and it will have the Cyan with green and then the green will expand and circle too and then it will turn off and then an orange light start circling and then turns off and repeats 🧍🏽‍♀️

Didn't have to do any of this to cure circulating orange ring. Simply unplug echo dot, power back up after a few seconds and it sorted itself out.

Lorex 4K cameras are junk in less than a year I had four go bad they would not warranty the last one Costco is supposed to have a 2-year extended warranty they are also not honorable they wouldn't warranty it good but what good ist it if you have 4 out of 8 bad cameras now im on 5th one going bad. Costco does not honor their warranty.

Been trying to setup my Alexa that was purchased as a gift. On setup I get the message “this device is not registered” while trying to connect to the WiFi. I have tried everything in the troubleshooting such as, moving the Alexa to a different space, resetting router, factory resetting, trying to set up from a WiFi hotspot on my phone- really don’t what what els to try?
