Sul Sul! Welcome to my channel dedicated to Sims 3 😄💚You'll find a mixture of speed builds, overviews and home makeovers. I've been playing Sims for over 20 years and have over 4,000 hours in Sims 3 alone. Also, I am a penguin and I love tea.
Please feel free to visit my website www.nessiepenguin.com where I showcase my creations, sneak peaks on new videos, challenges & CC finds
I know the video ia older but maybe somebody will see it :) I followed your instructions, fenced everything off, put the room markers and public space markers etc. but when I control shift click the door, there is no option for make NPC doors. There is a bunch of different options but not this one :( does anybody know why?
Wow you did amazing job at building this house for and it really looks like real house please check out this house its called 123 Bellevue Boulevard, Guyton, GA 31312 it has 6 bedrooms 4.5 bath I think you could build it in the Sims 3
Thank you SO MUCH! I loved apartment feature at The Sims 2, and were so sad that there was no that kind of apartments anymore in TS3, but this helps a lot! I will definitely try this as soon as I can. Thank you! <3
@@miriamwithane7501 Sorry to hear that ☹️ there a quite a few steps to the process, double check that you follow the correct steps based on the type of apartment (e.g raised or flat building), just retrace your steps and hopefully you will find what is missing 🙏🏼 don't set your sim's actual apartment room as a public space, your sim's apartment should have no markers, only the other apartment rooms for NPCs and the lobby/entrance should have markers ☺️
This is so beautiful. Your building skills are amazing. I cannot believe this has no cc. I dont know if its your graphic card/settings or your reshade but your game looks so crisp and beautiful!!
@@NoIdleSims Awwh thank u so much! I'll be honest it's just the video editing as I don't have any lighting mods 😆 when I play the game looks fine but when I film it comes out so dark so I have to edit the footage a fair bit 😅
Loved all of these different ideas for worlds! October Valley is my favourite. 😍 You really remind me of myself taking on like 5 projects all at once 🤣💜
@@kenziisims thank uuuuuu 😄😄 I guess I started new projects on days when I just felt like it or was going through a phase so I built 1 house and was like, right I need to make the WHOLE town look like this now 😆 I don't know why I do it to myself lol!
WOW Nessi, WOW! Yur build style is truly phenomenal! Like, I'm actually blown away at yur realist London townhouses, the stadium and yur October/Autumn themed homes. We demand speed build

@@nessiepenguin I manage to solve the issue, but now im getting unsolicited roommates. I just wanted to create an apartment building like the ones in Bridgeport. Not a Dorm. Do you know how to do this?
Thank you for the tut! I've got a (probably stupid) question: you've maintained the lot type as residential, thus making our Sim buy their property upfront. What happens with the apartment type lot instead? Would it set a rental price or just f-ck things up?
@@mattia51296 not a bad question at all, in fact it's so good that I don't have an answer and I haven't tested it before. If you do test this please let us know what happens? 😁
Is it possible to be able to go into your apartment neighbors apartments and putting furniture in them? Or can you put furniture only in your apartment?
Without a mod I don't believe it is possible to go into the neighbours apartments unfortunately which is why you don't need to place furniture for them, hope this helps ☺️
So even tho sims 4 is horrible for me this is why i love the sims 3 more becuse you can litterelly make sims your roomate and stay in rooms and have a resteraunt for them to eat at and make your hotel on your plot if you can handle the lag of amount of people in the household of course and how old your computer is like me but still developers on sims 4 need to take notes cuz what they done here is a absolute are peace of art of a game and now look at sims 4 ew
Hello, the video helped me, but I still wonder if it is possible to make the flat rentable instead of full purchase. Do you know? Edit: I figured it out just now. The trick is to designate the lot as an apartment (duh). So, that was that.
Do you have to make a room h8dden before you can set the door as "make npc door". Because when I didn't, that option didn't come up for me. I wanted to still see the npcs in their apartments
I just saw a comment on reddit about making apartments with "npc doors". I searched on RU-vid and found your video. This is a great tutorial, a great idea. Thanks so much for making this. I love your builds too
So can you go inside their apartments? I notice they just teleport out of the NPC door. Im guessing Sims 3 uses it as a teleport for a randomly allocated sim? You cant decorate their apartment and have them truly live there.
As far as I know you won't be able to enter their home, but you can invite them into yours. It is effectively a randomly generated neighbour who just appears.
@@nessiepenguin that's both sad and eerie at the same time. Someone who lives in the 4th dimension. Only ever appears outside their door. Do they have families at least in the same home? Or go to work and come back etc. If you can remember that is :)
@@lila8593 Awwh thank u so much! I really need to work on more video, lately I have just been super preoccupied with creating a Dark Academia style Sunset Valley Save file so I think I'll do an update on that soon ☺️
@@nessiepenguin yes, you mentioned this in the video and I was very excited about it! No pressure on sharing any content, but I'd like it if you shared some thoughts on it and talked about it. ❤️
