Welcome to the portal into my universe! In this realm you can travel to guitar factories near and far. Imbibe on the magical cocktails I create that are elixirs to the soul. Transform yourself through vintage suits, fabulous hats, haberdashery and eyewear. Experience the music that churns the deep, dark waters of my imagination. I try to post videos regularly on guitars, guitar factory tours, hats, vintage clothing, suits, glasses and eyewear, cocktails and wine.
hi Brad, how about bringing over some of Takamines hi end guitars back to the states.... Takamine used to have exceptional master luthier made guitars and you cant get them here anymore yet they are still sold overseas
@@BradleyJohnson13 I have a Nashville TNV series from 2003, after hundreds of gigs its in bad shape. I am looking for a replacement for it but theres nothing even close in terms of materials offered from Takamine that I can buy in the states. Do you have an estimated timeline of when this might happen? If its much longer I'm just gonna have to find another used TNV, and even that is near impossible because people dont sell them.
Thank you for building such incredible Guitars...Everything Yamaha makes is great ..I own a 1989 Pacifica 721 that i Love .my brother bought a Revstar. I want so bad a SG 1500...I love Yamaha guitars..Japanese Guitars are some of worlds best ..their craftsmanship is perfect
Nice to see so much of the actual hands on work. After buying a 214ce dlx it’s cool to see what went into your item. I still feel the American factory is only higher because of bloated salaries. Damn shame America has become so expensive and most workers are unhappy.
(In the description) Hamamatsu is the city, which is in Shizuoka prefecture, and is also home to Kawai. Yamaha Music Craft is the name for the division of the company that manufactures and sells wood.
ESP 🇯🇵 for ever ! I work for ESP, when there was only ESP Tokyo , ESP Düsseldorf and ESP New York back in the late 80tis early 90tis I work for ESP Düsseldorf germany as a salesman , awesome times FCK ESP USA ! (im sorry but that’s not a original ESP to me)
Hey Bradley, When the CNC carves those necks, are they only rough carving it so the craftsman can finish final shaping it by hand, or does it carve it to the final thickness. Do you remember if the craftsmen do any work to the neck after it comes from the machine?
If you click "more" in the information found just beneath the video, and scroll down, you will see every song. Most were performed and recorded by Jake Allen, while 2 of the other tunes were done by Kotaro Oshio. Both artists play Japanese Takamine guitars, but it doesn't say which specific models. Lots of youtube videos show Jake Allen performing, and you can see which models he's using in each song.
To me Santanas tone was way superior when he had his Yamaha it had such a warm charming rich mid tone. After he switched to PRS the tone sounded much thiner and hollow. I wonder if Santana switched because of sponsorship? Having his own model?
Less made but with more attention than those in Hangzhou were one is popped out every second. Soulless. Think the attention to detail here gives a better quality product.
This is guitar porn overload. Thank you so much for sharing this. I'm so thankful I was a George Lynch fan and he was so far ahead of the curve on recognizing premier luthiers back in the mid 80's. So thankful to these amazingly skilled craftsmen and craftswomen. I love your products. I bought my first George Lynch Kamikaze in 2000 or 2001. I'm not done buying ESP guitars. ❤ESP
It's wonderful that the Western world made it lawful to send almost their entire industry and manufacture to communist China. Very generous of them to deliberately and knowingly impoverish their own lands in favour of a communist China leg-up. Talk about a major windfall falling into your lap.
