@@Sexywierdo5463 Actually, you have to look at the older yachts when they were hand made, and had wood and custom built and painted features, now yachts are assembled, not custom built, and 3Xs the price for Euro trash
Looks like the Pardo 52 Coupe. That's not a bad thing. Needs either a helm door or at least window on both sides, to communicate while docking etc. Needs outdoor kitchen as kitchen is small, maybe the 2 storage cabinets on deck could do this? Where does a tender, fenders, lines etc go? Needs a submersible rear platform for that? Great looking boat if these could be sorted 👍
This is the best hull for a family on long passages. I really like Harry Ali. It was renamed, refitted. I am thinking of building such a hull for my Family. I am 64 years old and in a few years I will build and make it a family Ornament. Nordhaven is the best there is. Thank you

If it's not steel, it's a fareweather toy for fareweather sailors. And I'm sure they're great for that....as long as you don't hit anything solid, including a solid wave. GRP, is non forgiving.
Price is why I don’t go for these. I like the layout. I can’t gauge how small it is unless I see if for myself. Really the only thing I would rather have is a black tank toilet

@@NeonCab I simply love this clean SY 80 and the fact that there are no more unnecessary steps/levels inside. I am also not entirely sure about this Turkish influence on SY, I think that Italians are better at this… Especially with this SY 120 in this rendering, I am missing a recognizable “line” in the design process. Sorry, but it looks “mounted” in a bad way. I prefer the elegance of the SY 80. Even winning big in a lottery, I would opt for the SY 80 instead the SY 120… ;-)
I mean, even the smallest ones. I LOVE the Nordhavn 41, just even as one of the least expensive vessels I've done a video on, it's out of my price range. But we can still appreciate them.
I think they are designing to be attractive to the charter market. Like you, I prefer the rugged trawler look too but they might have calculated that that trend has plateaued and they need to move on.
The answer to your question is, both. I feel as an ex sailor, if your going this big, sailboat is the way to go. inevitably, you'll eat less resources and its somewhat cheaper. I think she's gorgeous. I love the sail plan. What I want to see is the spinnaker. Lol. Biiiiiig balloon of a spinnaker. Great vid.
An ugly yacht where the designers completely mucked up the dimensions and proportions of what could have been a classic reinterpretation of the golden era of gentlemen's sailing yachts.
Wonderful vessel? Yes. However, if you actually cook, all galleys require two full-size ovens. You showed virtually nothing about food pantry storage. Explorer vessels require plenty of storage for frozen, fresh, and dry foodstuffs. Pretty woodworking, good layouts, ample guest accommodations. Range by way of engine and fuel storage options? Good videography and narration. I'm a sucker for Nordhavn in all their many configurations. Can't wait for your next video.

Does the N41 have "Position Hold" as a feature? That is a significantly helpful feature on the ICW and in the Canal System on the northern part of the Great Loop when waiting for bridge openings and sometimes locks to be cleared.
