Welcome to my channel, I am just getting everything setup in a very basic way. I hope to grow and develop this channel as a side hobby as my job allows for a lot of free time on my hands.
I recently upgraded to a new custom PC desktop build. I had been gaming on laptops for the last 5 years, and previously always had my own custom built desktops. However with school and work, I needed something portable and having a desktop just wasn't feasible anymore. Finally I am settled into my career and finally have the ability to have a nice desktop and office space/man cave.

yeah I am going to have to use a thermal sheet. my core deviation is high (around 15c). I used KPx to repaste an 11980hx and its still terrible at 90w.
I have the same issue with tiger lake, ever other core is cooler than the rest. I’ve repaste multiple times but I’ll try to spread it myself. I think the heatsink is the fault
There is an install.bat First you need to right click properties unblock Then right click run as admin You don't need to go through every inf file and Exe..
@@davidsmith4186 I’m working on a new video. I’m going to compare the new performance chances if any. Spoiler alert, I haven’t seen any degradation to performance. The new official fix from Intel includes both power, and current limits as well as a new microcode that contains a voltage limit of 1.55v for spurious voltage requests from the CPU. So much of what I talked about and showed are contained in these new 0x129 bios updates. Including the power and current limits.
I can't find a contact link for you, so I am posting a comment here, I really thought the video about i9-13900K and i9-14900K BIOS settings was really good, and would like to link to it, but has it gone unlisted? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tcjkNSySzsg.html 13900K and 14900K Power Draw and Crashing Fixed Easy.
@@captainculpeper1250 I don’t like the stock weird arm stand it came with. I use a cheap Amazon Basics VESA stand. It also allows me to put the monitor farther back on the desk as it has less wasted space from the stand size.
A piece of advice, if you are a consle player, dont you ever buy an oled monitor, why? trust me, you dont want to know how bad the input lag is, dont waste your money, everyone is hyping about oleds monitor, and they are claiming that oled is good for everything but its not, all what they do is for a marketing purposes ,save your money, if you are a compatitive player then the oled is not for you.
You don't even know what your talking about before criticize orient your self OLED monitors has no input lag their pixel response times is instantaneous and they have the best color reproduction and they also have perfect blacks oleds are great for games movies and even productivity's work so educate your self before criticize and say that oleds aren't great
What is the best undervolting for gp66 i7 11800H rtx 3070 especially on CPU its freaking hot... Is that possible sit on 70 ~ 80°C CPU no over... Its for long term use if anyone can know best tunning...
G Skill sells a 6800 kit now? Edit: Ya I guess they've had that kit awhile now. Very odd. I can run my 6000 C30 2x32gb gskill kits at 7200-7466 depending on the motherboard lol.
I have no options for >memory After memory configuration > only have options showing which are Memory thermal configuration and Memory training algorithms
Tip, Work on the mouth smacking. I don't know if its a youtube thing but its like content creators is doing it to get louder and they doing it more and more in the video. You want your presentation to be clean
Turn gsync compatibility off in nvidia control panel (3rd option) and flicker goes. But it shouldn’t happen on monitors costing 1,000 or more .. I feel it’s worse in the msi compared to Alienware I tried
I was with you until about 24:20. Then you lost me. I have a stock gs66 stealth 10sf. I did a system benchmark test from userbenchmark's website and it said everything was great except my RAM which was in the bottom 6th percentile and I should try enabling xmp. Which is what I was trying to do. But I'm just beyond confused now. 😢 Also my bios doesn't have gear 1 or 2 option...
10th gen does not have a gear modes. It uses DDR4 in Gear 1 all the time. 11th gen introduced gear modes for the IMC. For real gains with 10th gen GS66 you need to use DDR4 Samsung B-Dies. You can find this out by looking at the memory ICs and seeing if they are Samsung, or by using CPU-Z and looking at the SPD tab.
@@TalonsTechhi, can u help me please? :< I have Pulse 15 B13VK but in the bios i can’t found “Memory over clock” Here have only memory thermal configuration, memory training algorithms and blocked memory configuration Idk what I wanna do, because I disable in cpu CFG lock and Overclocking lock
I've got a 7800x3d and 4090 and only get about 100fps at 1440p with low settings. I'm not sure why it's so low. My 3080 got almost the same performance.
@@TalonsTech Ah!! I overlooked that one. That put me up to 170 at epic settings. However... as I'm typing this reply the game had the GZWClientSteam_Win64_Shipping crash lol Edit: I'm going to try Low settings to see if that will stop the crashes. Getting 250fps at low
My LG 32GS95UE flicker for me in this game with VRR turn on. It flickers with VRR turned on in any game actually just not as noticeable. I just turn VRR off unfortunately.
Probably set a power limit or is running it at stock. My 14900ks runs with an all core overclock to 5.9ghz but I set a max power target to 275w to help mitigate thermals.
Single Rank. Dual Ranked A-Dies are also phenomenal to get if you’re on a 4 dimm board. Most Z790 can do 7000 CL34 dual ranked. This will offer 8000 CL36 like gaming performance.
Bruh, I'm just so confused now, I just played that very game on that very msi panel and I never once noticed it flickering even launching the game just now just to look I still don't see it
