hey again! I think they're guessing anywhere from 80 - 150 per node if every node has an evenly distributed number of players. This is based on having 10,000 players per server at a time! With 85 nodes that's how it gets broken down IF everyone somehow spreads out evenly

@@OfficialDlonem any reason? The game is being made for like 7 years now and there was only one playable alpha and also still in early alpha state. Plus they want to add gazilion of things to the game which never worked before in any mmo I know. The one big server is another concern, the gameplay we have seen so far looks 5/10 at best, animations are very rough atm. These are just few things that came to my mind at first.
@The69Oskar69 GTA 6 has been in development since 2014/2015 - people don't doubt it's existence, only because it has previous titles. The one big server is actually 25 smaller servers hosting everyone, kinda puts the M in MMORPG, big servers and such. Yeah the gameplay may be an acquired taste, I'm just pumped to see a lot of these systems coming together "that have never worked" because they've never been done in MMOs. Let's meet back in 2 months once they release the Alpha 2! I look forward to seeing your thoughts after that point and if they change at all
@@OfficialDlonem ok but how many great titles has intrepid released like Rockstar did? Very bad comparison lol. Archage tried many things and it wasn't working very well. I am concerned when someone promise so many things because this is just more stuff that can break and not work, not saying it will but it is possible. Like machines that have more moving parts can break more easly.
@@OfficialDlonem they said the alpha 2 will release sometime in Q3 of 2024, and that ends at the end of September so... less than 2 months? i wouldnt be shocked if they pushed it back
@networknomad5600 I'd be willing to bet it releases fully before 2028. Alpha 2 is releasing in September most likely, and you'll be able to play that until launch, however many years away that looks like
@@Seb7an see you got it! The actual game release will probably take time between 2026 and 2028, however the Alpha 2 will probably release some point in September of this year
This MMO has everything... except good gameplay or fluent and smooth combat. So basically its missing the most important parts of a good game in general. cannot wait
@@Adoarer They redesigned them because they are making the mistake of trying to "fix the combat" before finishing the world so people don't say its a scam LOL. You're the clueless one. Every time the world changes and things get added they realize the combat doesn't work anymore but what can they do? They have to have some kind of half baked combat for now that gets updated. If the game was made like the good old days where there are no paid alphas and all this nonsense they wouldn't have this issue because they wouldn't have to show off combat systems that will keep being reworked to fit the world slowing down their dev time DRASTICALLY...
@@Pableras942 I've been following closely lately , there's a good chance the Alpha 2 will release in September of this year. They plan on still having a beta one and a beta 2 so 2026 would definitely be pushing it
I think it has the potential to be one of the best MMOs ever. My only criticism would be the combat. It looks like they tried to copy Archeage but failed miserably. It's static, clunky and looks off even by tab target standards. If they went for a more skill based combat that is compatible with the age and era we live in, it could be great. Then again most MMO players don't mind this as they grew up on somewhat worse combat. Hopefully the leftover players from this dead genre will be enough to sustain this game in the long term.
@dariciesglaciem3009 they definitely do have tab targeting, but it looks like there is some partial skill combat at least you just swing a sword without needing to right click a bunch of times. I think once they have this massive Alpha 2 in the next couple months, they will get all of the feedback they know to help refine it
@aero64cz truly? I've been following it extra closely lately and yes it's been in development since 2017, but it looks like it's starting to pick up momentum! Alpha 2 in 2 months and you can play that till actual launch (persistent)

Maybe a lot of the casual pve crowd will quit, but it's going to be great for pvx and pvp players. Can't wait to invade raids to steal bosses, and be hired to protect caravans.
I am hoping they have been working on the end game / content loop cycle so this doesn't actually happen. It seems like they have so much that can go on during a month of play, that it has a good chance of living
*cough* New World *cough* i have some good hopes for AoC honeslty because they are taking their time and "let it cook" is definitely on the rise, and that's what this game has been doing
I recorded a very sassy appeal video where I showcased how all my content was my own and how I edited it, and they eventually approved me! I also made sure to mention I was a variety channel, otherwise my content looks random and stolen. I hope this helps

respectfully, it's going to be my personal wow killer. as i mentioned in the video i can't believe wow's guild system is as shallow as a kitty pool... yes you can grow in your guild, but you can't grow your guild like the way you will be able to in ashes of creation
