It's very common for sharks to come and look you over. This wasn't big. A Spearfisherman is a very big fish in the water. 90% of the sharks you will see in your lifetime about your size or a bit bigger. My biggest about 12' when I was about 15-17 yrs of age spearfishing by myself. Things get spooky when you have/Shot fish.
Jack Williams FFG-24 . Yes the games we used to play on one another back in the day! Subs and aircraft also had their fair share of close calls and worst.
I really don't understand why people use the color yellow when sharks are attracted to it 😅 everyone thinks the spear gun scared it but it's most likely the reason it came to take a look at all because it doesn't look like they've even speared a fish yet 🤷 they gotta swim in close because most sharks have poor eyesight
Thats the thing with sharks, they will come and investigate you, scope you out if you are potential lunch, then disappear into the ocean and then come from behind you at lightening speed moments... minutes... hours later... if they decide you are lunch that is.. good move getting out of that water.
My grandfather was there. He just recently told me the story of the accident and being on the boat that was hit. He saved two other men before being pulled onto the Spanish fishing boats that came to help.
They're smart enough to know that you're not trying to escape and that the thing pointing at them is probably a defensive strategy they're not too familiar with so you're best avoided
Great White: Why hello there. You are a curious thing. What are you? Are you food or threat? Oh, threat? Okay, good day to you and goodbye. Meanwhile, in another video...
