Hopefully more of these are around and people take an interest to preserve the animatronics! If anyone know where some of these are that need repaired, that i can get for little cash or that you have/own reach out my brother and husband can do repairs!!!! We need to preserve these.
My dad saw the CU tape and he was really crossed and upset and crying. It made me cry too. He said his words to the CU tape “Chuck E. Cheese… dies” that got me scared cause I’ve seen the CEC rocker stage in Rockford IL and loved Rockford then when I moved to Tennessee I saw the 1 stage and like cyberamic shows and not the new and improved rock afire explosion CEC rip off. When I showed my dad the documentary he loved it because the rock afire was his childhood. Rest in peace RAE
Aaron seems like a pretty cool guy. I really hope he's doing well. Hopefully he got to help work on the recent horror movies about anamatronics like Five Nights at Freddy's, Banana Splits (sci-fi channel movie) and my favorite Willy's Wonderland (because Nick Cage is the shit).
I was about 19 when my town got a Show Biz Pizza place. I was aware that there was an animatronic band but I only cared about playing video games. Dragons Lair was our favorite.
I remember when this wa on Netflix I was 6 and my dad used to show me and my brother the videos of the rock afire explosion singing all those popular songs of the time and then my grandma showed us this documentary and I still love it
As someone that owns a looney bird mech I have to agree with chris I’m always concerned about the temperature and I want to make sure he’s in top top shape
I wish someone would open a retro place the size of Walmart that would have all of the Chuck E Cheese, Showbiz, Crystal's Palace, and Casa Bonita. I'm sure it would be a hit. Funny thing, in the 80's, the 50's was the thing. I was born in 1972. I still have my original Teddy Ruxpin, Atari 2600, crimping iron, and Nintendo NES. BEACH BEAR used to freak me out. It looks like he was going to shoot out into the audience.
This documentary is one of the most beautiful things ever. I think i first watched it back in February of this year. Every time my Rock afire obsession gets kickstarted again, I rewatch it. I've liked the Rock afire for a year now, this documentary makes me cry like a baby every time. I saw the Hardluck Bears in Matlock back In August, and my mouth was open in awe and i was sobbing profusely, watching the show. The Rock afire makes me laugh, smile and even cry. This documentary encompasses that so well. " An eccentric portrait of childhood memories. " What could be more beautiful than that sentence alone?
If i'm rich enough i will buy this show and put in the best condition i could. My dream is the same as Aaron and i felt so much what he's been through. He was just like a "copy" of myself. His anger, the way he talks and the way he decided, i feel like i was mirroring him with the stuff i do these days.
shoutout to dude for holding on for soooo long. good on you for never selling your brain-children. nooo wayy that factory would have survived cec's 2 bankruptcies.
The five nights at Freddie's movie is going to get people to be Interested in this Doc, the creator of the Video Game based Freddie and his fellow animatronics on Rock afire and the animatronics at Chuck-e- cheese because he was Scared of them as a kid. Don't blame him the king at chuck-E Cheese scared me at 5 (circa 1985).
Well I had a same issue with mine and there what carbon build up in the engine. What I did to fix it I shut the car off then push all the way down on the gas and pump it then turn it off when you are before you hit the red line. I can send you a video if you need
@sourapple2467 I wish I saw the band 😢. It was ahead of its time. they needed to be taken cared like children cus of A LOT of maintenance they needed.
I came back here to watch this again after the last CEC with a full stage was removed in my state. I do enjoy both the RAE and CEC, but since I grew up with with CEC, I prefer it more. Basically what's happening with 2.0 is like Concept Unification all over again, but the animatronics are being killed off completely this time. My childhood is gone and the wounds still haven't healed. But I look back at my many videos and photos of CEC and was glad that I decided to record the show that one night...
