Appreciate ya. Ol lady spilled some soda on hers. I didn't seem to get past the rotary knob fortunately. I'm assuming these will eventually fail. Is it a decent idea to have a spare on hand or do these last quite a while? It's a 2.5l with a rebuilt trans. 120ish on the clock. It helps others you remove the tray so that we can see what’s under it. Awfully similar a Fusion where I suspect a broken transmission link which path is hidden under the tray
Hey, could I pay you for the 49, and 50 calibration files? Or whichever you ended up using. I think ford took them off of the motor craft site and I’m having trouble sourcing some down right now. I believe mine is set up for a different year or only pre crash. I just have a failed communication code even though I updated it fine.
@@Nickthecarguy my vin is 3FA6P0G71HR104720. My C-CM is HG9T-9G768-AG, it didn’t seem like the normal one used for an aftermarket install but it came from a fusion, I was thinking if I added the calibration files from a 2017 that my car would be able to read the data
@thegamersneighbor8979 I see you have a base version fusion. For radar cruise to work you need a new abs with adaptive cruise control have you already replaced the abs module you would have to replace the whole assembly. You have a pre collision fault for that it uses the camera that mounted on the windshield you probably don't have that. I think there might be a way to disable that message
@@Nickthecarguy I installed the Lkas already and got it working, I didn’t replace the abs module because I thought the factory pump would work down to 30 on breaking, I was just going to try using some calibration files that work with the 2017 acc to see if that was the issue
I have an issue where the passenger side daytime running light works, but when the turn signal goes off, the running light wont come back on. If It turn the headlights on, then off, the running light works again, but won't come back on after a right turn signal... even after the turn signal turns off. Any ideas?
What the hell 🤦 bro just for a horn, bought my kid this car then find out the day before his final driver's test his horn doesnt work 🤬 now he can't use his car to do the test and I sure as hell ain't going to fix it that quick
@thegamersneighbor8979 I had to tap into two can but wire which I found one behind the bumper then there is two more can bus wire for the camera for pre collision

@thegamersneighbor8979 the lane center is more involved than I want to play with. You will need a whole new power steering rack a new cruise control module and a new rear view mirror camera the rear view mirror camera won't fit on the fusion you will have to make brackets and modify it onto the windshield
just had this happen to me, however, check that your car isn't available for the recall from ford. Look it up. I'm getting all 4 of my mechanisms replaced for free by ford. Heck yeah babyyyyy
I recently purchased a 2019 Ford Fusion so I have begun to watch RU-vid videos on "How to". One idea that I had was to go to an auto recycling yard and practice on cars there on how to remove different trim pieces. Watching a video and doing the process can be two different things, and by going to the recycling yard, I don't have to worry about breaking tabs and other parts on my own car. Once I understand how to remove parts and practiced I have more confidence to work on my own vehicle
Hi Nick, after replacing my e-shifter with a new one, I started to hear the motor pulling the gearbox cable for any gear change, this has never happened before. Can you tell me if I need to reset any module after this replacement?
@dirtcheapmedia3390 good question. There is a software update to suppose to fix this issue. You would have to go to toyota and have them update the radio there is a tsb
