I bought it to train with my track bike and found it to have resistance similar to climbing a slight gradient. Takes a while to learn to balance but there is plenty of guidance to help on the internet. Edit: There was more resistance at lower speeds because of the number of contact points but at higher speeds it is much easier as you don’t have to contend with drag.
I have the hip attachment but can’t use it because the app is no longer available to set it to two zones and there is no online health that I can find.

I live in Alaska and use the Lone Peak 4.5 for running all winter. I bought it size bigger than normal and layer socks. It works pretty good on packed or groomed trails as you said. Nice video 👍
Not the best review. Should include power accuracy and worth mentioning the Kickr rocks back and forth to better simulate real life - I didn't think that was a big deal but after riding my wheel on trainer all winter then hitting the road my climbing experience is vastly better on the road because I can rock the bike back and forth while I put the power down. I rarely get out of the saddle on my trainer.
Yes very handy, but what do you think about the use of this watch in open water and in swimming pool are data’s reliables? It reminds me on my Garmin 920xt no music no payment system no f..g useless and energy consuming features.
