Definitely a great help, especially when I’m trying to help a friend out with his scenery. He just doesn’t feel very pleased with his work. Went as far to say “I suck”, and that just set my determination even higher! Like bro, you don’t suck at all buddy, just got to keep on doing it until you’re great at it! Right now I’m teaching how to use the different ballast sizes and types in a mix to create that old 90’s look to ballast, with small hints of orange/red from granite and so on. Thanks for everything Woodland Scenics! Great stuff, and not just for model trains either. Use this stuff for my Gundam dioramas as well.
Hi. =] I love this product and have used it quite often. This time however, I have a problem I hope you can help with pretty please? It can be a challenge having a German Shepherd and crafting terrain. ^.^ I guess it didn't matter he can't come in my workroom and I change clothes before going in there to avoid dog hair in my work. Somehow a random dog hair dried on the very top of my ... pond. It must have happened close to the end of drying because it's laying right on top but still stuck in the top of the Deep Pour water. Am I out of luck or is there anything I can do to fix it? This pond took the entire bottle of murky, but I still have a little bit of murky as well as a little bit of clear left over from other jobs. Hoping I can use them somehow to help fix instead of buying a whole kit. Thanks for any help.
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our products. To remove the dog hair, sand the Deep Pour in the area where the dog hair is located until the hair is able to be removed. Then wipe off the sanding debris using rubbing alcohol and let the water feature dry. Finally, pour a new, thin layer of Deep Pour in the area where the sanding took place. The Deep Pour will fill in and repair the sanding scratches, making the Deep Pour look proper once it has cleared.
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our products. Our apologies for the delayed response. The dimensions for N-scale are 1.75 L x 1.62 W x 1.87 H (in inches.)

How long are the wires? If I have a 4x8 layout (or larger for some people) and need the wires to reach across to my control panel, do they sell extensions? Or is cutting/ soldering and extension possible?
Thanks for sharing. I guess the the layout bendable foam risers (4" x 2 glued on top of one another) would work under shaper sheets for more stability with a heavier model sitting on a hill crest (Sand dune)? Thanks again /Rosemary
To support the Shaper Sheet and give it more stability, we recommend our Support Panels. They can be cut using our Hot Wire Foam Cutter, Foam Knife, scissors, or a hobby knife to create the shape of the understructure you're looking for. We would also highly recommend reading our Complete Guide to Model Scenery, as it contains lots of relevant information filled with tips and methods.
The HO Scale Yard Light is designed to work with our Just Plug System, as such information about the voltage required to power the light isn't necessary. You can try following the instructions by plugging it into one of our Light Hubs, which can be powered with one of our Power Supplies or a 16-20VAC or 24VDC train power pack. Here is a link if you'd like to learn more about our Just Plug® Lighting System: woodlandscenics.woodlandscenics.com/show/category/JPLSBuildings
Thanks but I don’t want to buy another power supply if I can use one of my own. Can you share what the max DCvoltage ? If not I will not ever recommend a product requiring to buy additional power supply.
