Bring a variety of intersections to life on your layout with the new Just Plug® Traffic Lights. Simply drill a hole and plug into your Just Plug® Lighting System. We created three traffic signal styles popular in the mid '40s and '50s and are still seen in many towns and cities today. The Pedestal Traffic Lights are common in busy intersections or downtown areas, the Mast Arm Traffic Lights are ideal for suburban or small town roads, and the Suspended Flashing Lights are seen in rural areas to direct traffic with a caution warning signal. They are available in N, HO and O scales.

Looking forward to the blinker as well but for a city scene. These were very common in my city on many 2 lane intersections. Still a handful around that haven’t been converted to actual traffic lights or just removed.

I love the designs of the traffic lights especially the yellow blinking light as my favorite traffic light but it's unfortunate that the lights don't change color on like red yellow and green but I would like to have the ones of the I don't bring any light on my future city the good job Woodland sceneries🏆🏅

Modern styles would be amazing. Also a flashing red should be available. They are good items.

Actually working would have been even better! I wonder if you could use an infrared sensor to change the light from green to yellow to red? Use an Ardriuno for a time delay?

Agreed! And when last have you seen a single-sided traffic light? 99.9% of traffic lights are double-side since when they were first invented.
@peters1127
@peters1127 2 года назад
Great Idea, but I thing the cost of a infrared system would make this far to expensive for the average person and also not a very profitable run for the manufacture because of low volume sales. Just my thoughts.
@dennisb-trains23
@dennisb-trains23 Год назад
That would also jack up the price. Unless you have deep pickets, not everyone does. Just be happy they made something.

If I cut off the wires/everything above the horizontal pole on the traffic light, will that mess with the wiring? I assume the LED wires run up the vertical pole, through the horizontal pole, and into the light? Everything above the horizontal pole is just decorative?
@ModelSceneryExpert
@ModelSceneryExpert Год назад
Hello! Thank you for your interest in our products. With the Mast Arm Traffic Light, it is safe to remove the wires above the horizontal pole.

I like the flashing traffic light. So they had a flashing traffic light with yellow flashers in both directions the 1940s and or the 1950s? Wonder what kept vehicles from colliding with each other ?

So there were actually yellow flashing lights in both directions in the 1940s/50s at a road intersection? What kept vehicles from colliding if there was no red for one of them to stop?
